I spent two nights at this fine place. Wonderful service, superb breakfast, and very nicely decorated and maintained room. I think the quality of this place is, in many ways, tied to the quality of the staff. Cassandra (sp?) was the host I most interfaced with and she was

The Belfast Bay Inn is the place we go to when we need a " refuge from reality" so when we heard it was under new ownership we wondered if things would change. The answer was YES..But only for the better. The Inn certainly retains its charm and warmth but the new TV/internet

We are so happy that as return guests, you noticed some of the improvements we have made here. We have received nothing but favorable reviews on our brand new dining room, and the fantastic breakfasts that come out of our kitchen now. We appreciate that you find our upgrades for TV an internet a real improvement as well. The best part about your review is how you mention some of the great things about visiting Belfast. I'm blushing (almost) because of all the wonderful things you describe about the Belfast Bay Inn. We agree that the BBI is a perfect jumping off point for day trips to Acadia and Boothbay. We are very proud of our standards for cleanliness and service, and know these can make or break a guest experience. How nice of you to include my name. Our full breakfast, made in house every morning, is a big hit in our new dining room. Based on all of the options you listed, I am sure you enjoyed more than one breakfast with us! Now that we have "spoiled you for future stays anywhere", we hope that you will come back and stay with us again soon.
