We chose the Riverside because of it's proximity to EMMC. Since we reside out of town it was a good choice. Once we parked our car we didn't have to move it or worry about where to park while visiting someone in the hospital. There were four of us and so the double beds in the room were perfect for...

My family and I recently stayed at the Riverside because my father was in the hospital for an extended period of time. We chose the Riverside because of its proximity to the hospital and the "tunnel" attached to the hospital. We were greatly disappointed with the quality of our room and the services we received. The room was not always...

I stayed to assist loved ones in the hospital but wouldn't stay again. Room was clean, had a working refrigerator but bed was uncomfortable. Staff looked unhappy and even when they spoke they sounded like this was just a job not expressing any interest in their guests. No smiles. No idle conversation. I never felt so unwelcomed at a hotel...

My wife had minor surgery but we needed to spend the night in Bangor. This is old Inn facility but it is very pleasant and convenient. It is very nice to have this available. You can walk through a long corridor directly to the hospital. The corridor is very old and unkempt through old buildings of the hospital but I...

Worst stay ever! 6 of us had 3 rooms. All old and in need of a lot of updates. Lost power at just after midnight. It was out for about 12 hours. No heat, no hot water. No TV, no elevator. No apologies. No breakfast. No sleep due to snow plows running all night. Would not have stayed there but...

This is wonderful for those with medical needs@ EMMC the staff are polite and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heart beat! Hotel itself is old, however my room was clean and well furnished, fridge, coffee, alarm clock and the king size bed was comfy. No complaints here, great value and very helpful.

The place is convenient if you have someone at the hospital. However, it is dark and gloomy. They have had the same bedspreads since 2002. The wallpaper is peeling, the ceilings are stained. It is just dark and dreary. For $89 a night you'd expect a little better. Being in a hospital environment all day, you would hope the place...

The lobby is small, outdated and depressing. The staff is not very helpful. The room was small and outdated but more importantly, it was poorly cleaned and maintained. The paint and wallpaper was peeling, the finish on the furniture was peeling or worn off... The continental breakfast was pretty sad. But there were some positives. The hotel is right next...

Rooms clean and generally quiet, makes it easy to visit your hospitalized loved ones throughout the day and night, courteous staff. Easy access to shopping and dining. Cost effective place to stay. Continental breakfast available.
