I had never traveled to Maine before, and my friend stumbled upon these cottages. What a wonderful, mom and pop run business. There are so many places to sit and relax. We had an upstairs unit with two bedrooms, slept 4 and WOW what a view from up there. When the fog cleared, it was so incredibly "New England" with...

This was our 2nd stay at Sea Escape Cottages. We spent a week this time, and well worth it, AGAIN! We love Bethany and her family. They make you feel as though you are right at home. Wood burning on the outdoor fire pit every night, heavenly sunrises (viewed right from bed!) and amazing sunsets! A place to sip your...

This was my first long vacation in Maine. My husband choose the place and made the reservation, he had stayed here before. He warned me that I may not like it, no AC, not much to do, simple, not fancy, etc., etc. That's okay, it time alone with my husband, nothing else really matters, he's happy, right? This vacation was...

We owned a cottage resort in Canada for five years and sold it this year so we had summer vacation time! We just stumbled onto Sea Escape, expecting we could only find a motel on short notice but mid-week, there was one cottage open. We were VERY picky on how we ran our resort and Sea Escape is the same....

This was the first trip to Maine for my husband & I. I looked at over 30 properties online trying to find the right accommodations. This place turned out to be perfect. It reminded me of a stay at a favorite aunt & uncle's house. Les & Donna and family were wonderful. The other people staying in the cottages became...

Our extended family gathered on Bailey Island for 3 nights and stayed at Sea Escape. We had teenagers, adults to age 60, kids down to 9. They offer a variety of cottages and apartments with fabulous views of the water and lobster boats bringing in the catch. We swam off the front of the property each day- the water was...

An absolutely wonderful place to relax and enjoy the "Taste of Maine". Remote enough to be very quiet and serene, yet close enough to all the attractions. You can sit on your porch and watch gorgeous sunsets, watch the lobster trawlers at work, and listen to the sounds of the coast of Maine. Accommodations were very clean and the owners...

I just stayed here for a long weekend with friends. The weather was fabulous, the views amazing, the hospitality wonderful. Sea Escape Cottages is such a wonderful retreat from everyday life. Having traveled all the way from California, I was instantly relaxed the minute we pulled onto the island. We have been coming here for years, and look forward to...

Donna and Les have run Sea Escape for many years and developed a loyal following. They provide just the right amount of friendly service. The cottages are small but the land and the view is OUTSTANDING. May sure you have a fire in the fire pit at sunset. Go down to Glenn's Lobster pier and pick your lobster. Get Sea...
