My boyfriend, my little brother (11yo), and myself took the 8pm haunted tour. I was kind of concerened that it would be to scary for him but it wasnt at all. Our tour guide was great. I remember learning about this plantation 15 years ago, finally getting to enjoy it was a pleasure. Visit the awesome gift shop.

Stayed here with 2 other's in the Caretaker's Quarters. Cute Cute!! Double bed and bunk beds fit nicely in the 1 room. Bath with shower was a bit worn, but working. We had an amazing time walking around the place. Dined in St Francisville. No ghosts we found, but did see a bigfoot print out by our cabin. Lite breakfast...

Came here with some friends looking for a good haunt and our guide Lisa was simply amazing. Informative, funny, personable and as charming as the plantation itself. If you are looking for a good tour of the tradition that Louisiana is famous for, come down and get Lisa to show you around!

Visited The Myrtles and dined there as well. The food was delicious, I had the fried catfish platter. The service was top notch, extremely friendly and the atmosphere was charming and quiet. The Main House has several tours through out the day, A guided History tour and a guided Mystery tour in the evenings. As well as a self guided...

While the grounds of this property are attractive and the location in relation to houses and gardens of interest in the St. Francisville area is good,, the Live Oak Cabin in which we stayed was reminiscent of a cheap motel room from the 1940'ies. The interior lighting was particularly bad -- primarily harsh ceiling fan lights. The only positives were...

Me and my mother found this place by chance. And luckily they had room available in the couch house. It was very quaint and pretty. The people were very friendly and helpful. We met other travelers staying at the resort and they let us take a look in their rooms. Telling us about their ghostly experiences they have had. The...

We stayed in the Camilia room for two days. It did not have a shower, one small light in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed and not worth the money. Food at restaurant was good. We did have two experiences with the unseen entities at the plantation. Early one night and once late in the night while walking around and sitting on...

We were very impressed by this georgous home and it's beautiful grounds. The staff was all very friendly and were so helpful to our group. They were happy to answer questions and made sure that we enjoyed our time visiting the home. This house has a unique history and is worth a visit!

“My sister and I stayed in the Judge's Suite and my dad stayed in what they refer to as the William Winter's room. If you plan to stay the night and happen to be a chicken like me, I would advise skipping the Mystery Tour until after you have stayed the night. I felt more uneasy after hearing of the experiences others have had than I was before knowing. I believe the Myrtles is haunted.”
