My Aunt and I were very impressed by our visit to The Myrtles! All the staff that we encountered during our daytime tour were friendly and welcoming, and the grounds were beautifully kept. We arrived on a dreary day, but it only allowed a spookier experience to our time there. Lisa, our tour guide, was absolutely fabulous - funny and...

First off, the grounds and the house were absolutely beautiful. The live oak trees were huge and had ferns growing on them. We were so excited to take the tour as we are all really into the whole ghost hunting experience. Yours are every hour on the hour and we just so happened to be the only group on our...

On a recent trip to New Orleans, my husband and I decided to drive out to St. Francisville and check out The Myrtles. My husband is really into paranormal stuff and this place is a well known haunted location, so we figured we would drive out and take the tour. When we arrived, he talked me into spending the night....

We had a girls trip and spent the night in the cartakers quarters (creepy). We had an awesome experience! We had some incidents happen which caused the one non-believer to now believe. The staff at Myrtles are wonderful! Everyone was so nice! We had dinner at the restaurant and everyone was very pleased with their food. It was really good!...

Steeped in history, this unique b&b is worth a visit. Don't expect luxury - I'm guessing they cater to the thrill seekers and curious - but do expect wonderful hospitality and peaceful, yet mysterious surroundings. And of you want a haunted experience it is worth the extra cost for the nicest suite, with access to the main house stairway.

Best experience EVER! The location is beautiful. The grounds are well kept. The Caretaker's Cabin was awesome (and freaky) -- All that said, my absolute favorite part of the entire experience was the interaction with the staff. Lisa and Esther are AMAZING! I feel like I made friends for life with those ladies. They're sweet, wise and wonderful women. Overly...

I saw this plantation on a show about haunted houses, and I just had to stay there myself. So coming back from Mardi Gras, my wife and I stopped for a night in the Judge Clark Woodruff suite. The stately live oaks in front of house, keep it draped in a state of tranquil darkness. Spanish moss hangs liberally from...

Our room was in the main building. It cost a bit more than your average bed and breakfast, but for the fun of staying in a "haunted house" we gave it a try. I guess the main draw is the ghost (which I didn't find) because the rest of the service is terrible. For the price, they should at least...

It was supposed to be a trip for me and my husband, however he was called away on business so our oldest son accompanied me. It was our first visit to the Plantation. It was a "Bucket List" trip for me. Yes, there was quite a bit of renovating going on due to a fire they had a few months...

My husband and I stayed 1 night here before heading to New Orleans. We chose this plantation not for the amenities but the history. It is a fascinating home with lovely grounds. The tour was good. Our tour guide was great... she answered all questions and allowed plenty of time for guests to look around. One should not expect a...
