Booked the entire house for two days for my wedding party to get ready at and for us to stay at our wedding night (6 months in advance). I had a few questions and tried reaching out to the owner... Terrible, absolutely horrible communication... (Called and left 15+ voicemails, sent emails, etc with NO response). Finally made the call that...

While visiting in Ruston, Louisiana, October 17-20, 2014, our family, my husband and I, made an "Eleventh Hour" decision to treat ourselves to a "Getaway" for a couple of nights at a local Bed and Breakfast I located online, www.The VictorianLewisHouse.com for The Lewis House Victorian Bed and Breakfast, Tea Room and Gift Shoppe; 318-255-3848. It is needless to say,...

We have often stayed at the Lewis House Bed and Breakfast and each time has been outstanding. From the ease of on line registration , presented in very understanding/room availability / layout of the room description to checkout is literally as 1,2,3. Should there be any questions the web site is available for questions or comments. And the owner C...

What a wonderful place to stay!! Perfect in all aspects ~ from the refurbishing of this Lewis home back to its original historical grandeur Victorian style ... to the warm welcoming of Christopher and his awesome tea in the Tea Room to the smell of roasting coffee and hot breakfast in the morning on beautiful Rose China. But I think...

Even though our expected arrival time changed three times due to road repairs on I-20, we were still warmly welcomed by Christopher. We were given brochures about Ruston, history of The Lewis House and suggested places to eat. Our room was the Majestic and was invitingly decorated. The bed was wonderful. CJ, the owner has restored the home in a...

Selected Lewis House B&B for overnight stay in Ruston. So much more to offer than traditional motel chain. CJ called to see if we would arrive by 3 pm tea time. We arrived and were treated to a formal tea setting in the parlor. Great flavored tea with cookie sampler. The renovation of this 1900-built home is first class. We...

I did not think twice when booking a room at The Lewis House because I wanted to have a quiet weekend of reflection. The picture of the house and the rooms immediately drew me in, and once I arrived I realized that the pictures did not do the house nor the rooms justice. Stepping inside the house was like entering an...

The place was not clean and the owner is difficult to work with. It is over-priced considering the out-dated facilities and the moderate breakfast. We will never stay there again. I suggest staying some place in West Monroe, which is 30 minutes away.

The Lewis House is very clean and it is a Historical 114 year house which is very well kept and cleaned obsessively. We santize everything daily even light switches and door knobs. However, I find this review very unbelievable and malicious especially considering we are always very accommodating and we are very known for our very elegant abundant breakfast. But...
