This was my first time visiting a relative in lovely Natchitoches LA.
PROS: The location of the Chateau Saint Denis is excellent. Clean & new hotel.
CONS: Terrible desk service: on 2 occasions we walked up to the desk to ask question while attendant was...More
We LOVED Chateau Saint Denis. Loved the hard wood floors and the rain drop shower!! The room was very clean. Everyone working at the hotel went above and beyond to help answer any questions or any needs we had. We will definitely be back.
Facilities very nice, room was clean and staff very friendly. Room was not comfortable. Hard beds, no carpet could hear neighbors most of the night, balcony suite had no only one standard uncomfortable chair. Not nice enough for the price. Very close to festival activities...More
I stayed at the Chateau Saint Denis during a recent trip through Natchitoches. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the hotel, particularly for the price. The materials and details of the room were very impressive - hardwood floors, luxury bedding, granite in the...More

I don't know if there were any whirlpool tubs. My room had a very very small shower that was open. This meant a cramped shower and cold air hitting you while you shower. It was about the size of a cruise ship shower.except for the open air portion. There are similar comments in other reviews I have seen, if not here then on Yelp or elsewhere.
There is an elevator. I don't know if you need handicapped parking, but if you do I would recommend calling and asking as the parking area is outside and two blocks away.
Keep in mind, there is no carpeting only vinyl fake hardwood floors. Sound carries and you hear EVERYTHING.
The management tries to make excuses, tell you how great it looks, etc.
The only things great about this hotel are the location and cleanliness.
This property is in the heart of all of the business and tourism areas. Best location by far.
But, the $68 room rate on multiple sites for a hotel in a prime location- that should tell you everything.
If it were $120-200 which is normal for a hotel in a prime location, there would be far fewer favorable reviews

Yes, there is an elevator. My room did not have a whirlpool tub and I do not know whether other rooms do. I had a double room and some of my colleagues had suites with 2 rooms. Perhaps the suites have the whirlpool tubs.
