We booked at the Grand Bayou Noir because we liked the pictures on their website. We were not disappointed. The house is lovely and the suite we stayed in was beautiful. Everything was just the way it was shown on the site, well presented, maintained and just right. The hot tub was fantastic. The best part though is the owners,...

Recommended to this sweet B&B by the Houma Tourism Office and I'm so thankful. Took my mom here after a few days in New Orleans, our chance to get out of the city bustle and into southern Louisiana. When we arrived, we were offered a beer and a seat on the patio filled with plants and flowers. After winding down...

We enjoyed 2 nights in the creme room. Tim and Debra were very welcoming, and generous. You can help yourself to beer and soft drinks out in their lovely courtyard. The bed was comfy, room extremely clean. One little problem - the cold water faucet was broken, but the owner was trying to find authentic parts. We worked around it....

This bed and breakfast is operated by a true southern gentleman and his wife. We loved the upstairs suite and appreciated the private entrance for that room. It was very comfortable with a sitting area, four poster bed, kitchen area with a second day bed, and bath with a shower. In spite of being in an older mansion, everything worked...

This Bed and Breakfast was great! It helped us get the local flare and we enjoyed interacting with the owners. They were willing to give advice about where to go in the area. The breakfast was amazing, with bananas and oranges grown right on their property! They told us to help ourselves to bananas and alcohol and we could walk...

We can't even begin to tell you about the most awesome experience we had at Grand Bayou Noir. We were treated as if we were long-lost family. While they were preparing for two weddings, they made sure that we were taken care of in an amazing fashion. Breakfasts both days were spectacular. We were treated as family, almost. We both...

While planning our trip to Louisiana, I was fortunate enough to purchase the book Off the Beaten Path Louisiana. This bed and breakfast was recommended and rightly so. First of all Judge Tim upgraded us to the suite at no extra charge. The next morning we enjoyed a most delicious breakfast beautifully presented and prepared by the judge himself. We...
