This hotel is on the LSU campus. We absolutely loved the serene setting of this hotel with loads of paths and walkways to explore on campus. We were there a few days ahead of an LSU football game and we loved all of the excitement on campus surrounding this game. We felt safe walking along the paths at night and... More

Stayed there for LSU Kickoff. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Like other reviewers said, breakfast is nothing special. Lots of neat LSU decor and it's done tastefully as well. Great location for anything on campus.

I wanted to stay at the Hampton Inn or Staybridge near LSU, but unfortunately they were all booked up during my visit. Staying at the Cook Hotel cost more than I wanted to spend but since this was a business trip, I made it work. My room at the Cook Hotel was ok. For a "deluxe" room, it was pretty... More

The hotel is very clean & located in a quiet area. Room is very clean with killer beds & fast internet. Room is nicely appointed, has a mini fridge and micro. Check in was smooth. I was a little hesitant to book based on the nightly rate compared to other mid to high-end chains in the area but am very... More

It is a beautiful and well kept hotel. This was our second visit to this hotel. You get free breakfast but if you want hot breakfast you need to pay additional fees. It has an awesome gift shop to get your Tigers Gears.

I have staid in Cook Hotel several times. It's nice, clean, quiet. It's usually a very uneventful, enjoyable stay. I was very disappointed this time to find that they are now charging $8.50 plus tax for a breakfast upgrade. What this means is that if you want basic eggs, hot oatmeal, yogurt or fresh cut-up fruit you have to pay... More

Everything was very nice. Staff and room were both very nice. Snack bar is open 24 hours so if you need anything they have it. Free breakfast in the morning is very good. On the campus of LSU so it's perfect for game days.

Over the last few years we've been fortune enough to stay at LOD Cook several different times. Conveniently located on campus so you're within walking distance to all on campus sporting events, ESPECIALLY football games. Friendly, courteous staff & hands down best atmosphere for anyone including families. We've even been lucky enough to meet a couple of players! EPITOME OF... More

From the time I walked into the foyer, my mouth dropped!! I was completely floored... This place is beautiful!! The price is reasonable (especially for the added leisure of actually being on campus). They even have a general store on the main level in which eager, excited parents such as myself can purchase all kinds of memorabilia. Room service is... More

We had an overnight stay in room 209. The room was well appointed and fine for an overnight stay. The bathroom is a little small but that is not really a problem for a short stay. The price of the room was also very reasonable. And being tiger parents, we loved all the LSU decorations and themes. However, we had... More
