As the previous reviewer said, it is pricey but honestly it's not as pricey as the Hilton downtown or the Hyatt! It's a castle! You get extraordinary and unique when you get married here- it's not just a plain hotel. The staff are wonderful, they set up everything for you so you can just focus on getting ready for your...

This was a drive by, drop in and visit trip and I was so glad to have done it. I had seen it several times when driving from Lexington, Ky to Versailles and been intrigued by it. The entrance outside looks like a European castle but miniaturized. The area of the castle is not large as most European castles but...

We did not eat at the restaurant or or spend the night at Castle Post. This review is just for the exterior of Castle Post. While visiting Lexington we drove through the gates of Castle Post just to view this place. It is amazing! It truly has whetted our appetite for more of Castle Post. We would love to come...

Let’s face it, it is just a B&B with a fancy cover. Someone once told me that at a B&B, the bed has to be good and the breakfast has to be good. We’ll see. Arriving at the “Castle” is a picture to remember; it is definitely a Kodak moment. It is impressive. It gets your attention. And you can’t...

We stayed at the castle while on the Bourbon Trail and loved it. If you're looking for attention from a hovering staff, this not your place. The Hostess was very nice. She handed us the key, pointed out our room, invited us to enjoy the castle and left. The room was exceptional...spacious, very comfortable with all the amenities one would...

I have waited for over 20 years to stay at the Castle. That being said, my husband purchased a gift certificate which included a night's stay, 5 course, wine-inspired dinner and breakfast the following morning. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us and no obvious place to "check-in." After looking around, a very unfriendly person with an...

My husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and the food was well prepared. Very interesting food selection. I had shark. My husband had venison. Each course was unusual and tasty. The avocado soup was not to my liking but otherwise all of it was good. We did not stay the night but walked...

My girlfriend and I made our way to the great state of Kentucky to stay here. When the castle first comes into view you simply feel exuberant. We have looked forward to staying here for a long time. I booked us a nice "Majestic" suite. It turned out to be a corner turret suite in the main building. The room...

This is a very unique Bed and Breakfast. The castle experience was great. When we arrived they had already upgraded our room for us. We had driven past this castle for years and it was really fantastic to actually get to see the inside and spend the night! Very quiet, the whole castle is open for your use. We stayed...

“Other than the fact that this is situated in the heart of horse country and close to Keeneland race track, I would find another place to eat and sleep. Stop, take pictures, go inside and take a look around, then move on to someplace else for your overnight stay.”
