Castles are the backdrop of romantic, adventurous and heroic stories. The setting of a little girl’s dreams of being a princess and the little boy’s dream of being the hero and the warrior. Castle Post, with its own romance story, was a great place for my husband and me to spend our Anniversary this past summer. We live fairly close...

Always wanted to stay at Castle Post and got our chance at a friends wedding. Wedding was held outside on the grounds and the reception was inside. Food at the reception was very good for such a large crowd (prime rib was fabulous). Room was amazing! Like no other place. If you every have a chance to stay there go...

My husband and I were rather disappointed in our stay. First of all, a bed and breakfast that costs, with tax. $271.95 a night should offer a much nicer breakfast than a continental breakfast that is comparable to a Days' Inn. It was such a disappointment. We have been to bed and breakfasts before and the breakfast was always well...

This is the most beautiful place. It's like being in a real life game of clue. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and over the top beautiful. The staff is very friendly and always professional. I would highly recommend the coursed dinner. It was the best meal I've ever had. My boyfriend and I had a very romantic weekend. It's hard...

The Castle Post was a real treat and a great surprise. The craftsmanship is amazing throughout and the detail to attention is impeccable. Rooms and bathrooms are all high end and the furnishings and linens are all quality.

I've always heard of the castle in Versailles, KY. I finally went there for a wedding and was impressed. The place is gorgeous and really unique. Dinner was catered by the restaurant and the food was impressive, particularly given that they served so many people. The staff were friendly and kept the flow of people and food moving along nicely....

Have seen this place for years and always wondered why it was there. Finally did some research and found out it is now a B&B. If you want a CASTLE EXPERIENCE in the US this will give you one. Yes, it is a castle outside and in. Decour inside and out really reminded us of a castle. They did try...

I will start by saying that this is a castle, so you should expect some problems that hotels may be knocked for having. We stayed one night and I will say that its something I am so glad I have been able to do. The decor is really nice, and done so you know your in a castle. Our room...

As the previous reviewer said, it is pricey but honestly it's not as pricey as the Hilton downtown or the Hyatt! It's a castle! You get extraordinary and unique when you get married here- it's not just a plain hotel. The staff are wonderful, they set up everything for you so you can just focus on getting ready for your...

This was a drive by, drop in and visit trip and I was so glad to have done it. I had seen it several times when driving from Lexington, Ky to Versailles and been intrigued by it. The entrance outside looks like a European castle but miniaturized. The area of the castle is not large as most European castles but...

“Other than the fact that this is situated in the heart of horse country and close to Keeneland race track, I would find another place to eat and sleep. Stop, take pictures, go inside and take a look around, then move on to someplace else for your overnight stay.”
