Total old school property with a ton of great history. Over 100 years old, so it is bound to be a bit quirky. Reserved a queen bed and was "upgraded" to a king. Tiny room, tiny bathroom, no where to set up toiletries. But again, typical of properties like this. Like the

Thank you for your review! I appreciate you recognizing the staff by name, I will thank each of them for making your stay memorable. We will check out the issue with the curtains, they certainly should close completely. Thank for staying at the Seelbach, we look forward to your return. V Wilder, General Manager.

This restored historic hotel is beautiful, welcoming and friendly. Be sure to check out the Rathskeller downstairs and take in its beauty. The staff were generally welcoming and helpful, especially in the Old Seelbach Bar - Cindy & Bob were a pleasure to spend our evenings

There are other reviewers that mention that the hotel is renovated. Maybe it is happening slowly. I found my room to be fairly small with a tiny bathroom. I can deal with the size but it’s pretty dated in every element. Banged up moulding. Runny toilet. Old looking furniture. A

Dear OhFranklin, So far we have only done renovation on the staff areas. We took possession in Nov of 17. We started on behind the scene items while the plans for the guests rooms were completed. We expect to start early next year. It will be a complete remodel of room designs along with all new furniture, plumbing and electrical. As you can imagine the size of the scope takes some time in planning but I'm sure you will be pleased. Thanks for the review and we hope to see you again. Sincerely, John Cooper Assistant General Manager

First off, the public areas are beautiful downstairs and the food good. However, the room I got as a Gold Hilton Honors member was tired with peeling bathroom paint. My room faced 4th Street, but the window was filthy on the outside, obscuring any view. The room came with a mini

Parking???
Regarding parking, the entrance is on the left once you pass the hotel. Turn left through a tunnel. You will see the ramp straight ahead, towards the right side. Take the ticket to the front desk for validation and possible discounts by staying at the hotel.

How often does the airport shuttle run?
I think it's on demand. You tell them you need it and they tell you what time to be there

It is a great location. The hotel is a historic hotel with lots of history. They even have a historian. Capone, the Great Gatsby, ghosts, etc.. the Brown is another great hotel but the Seelbach is closer to where you want to be.
