The Seelbach Hilton is a welcome step back in time to an age of striking beauty---the lobby is breath-taking! The rooms were very clean but on the small side which is to be expected in any historic hotel. The size of the bathrooms also prohibited a bathtub, but the linens were soft and immaculate. A must: Go downstairs to see...

We are honored that you selected the Seelbach for your stay! We certainly love to showcase our history and we take pride in providing a great location to explore our great city, but we take the greatest pride in our "excellent" staff providing a "warm and welcoming" atmosphere. I am glad you appreciated our architectural elegance; it does make for...

Very interesting informative and entertaining hotel. From the moment you walk in you feel the nostalgic history from settings of Gatsby and Al Capone. Had a tour of the property from Patrick late night and was able to see the rathskeller, the garden area, the presidential suite and so much more. Larry who has been there forever and a day...

This hotel is a unique experience with a great location! It is situated in downtown next to fourth street live and the main Louisville attractions. Ask about the history of the hotel and you will be amazed at the stories.....

I had trouble finding a hotel in the area so booked here because I'm a Honors member and knew I could eat late downtown. Unfortunately I was back on the road early as the Seelbach is best appreciated when one has time to take advantage of the classic history and old world experience. Take a few days, eat in the...

Came into town for Thunder Over Louisville. The hotel was immaculate and the room was clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return to the Seelbach when back in Louisville.

Hotel was as expected enjoyed that however could not recommend the Oak Room for dinner food was overcooked and overpriced staff was helpful but didn't take away from the fact that the meal was not enjoyable

We had the opportunity to be in Louisville for 5 days for one of our children’s school events. My wife and I decided to stay at the Seelbach as despite some of the more negative reviews it seemed like a very elegant and stately hotel with tons of history. After spending 5 days there I have to say it didn’t...

Located in down town Louisville right next door to 4th Street Live, the Seelbach Hilton is an old hotel with a rich and interesting history. Yes our room wasn't huge, but the bed was comfy, so perfectly adequate for a two night stay. We enjoyed dining in the Oak Room where the staff really looked after us and it is...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Seelbach. While one of the greatest attractions to the Seelbach is the Historic Charm, the central location to everything in Louisville is one more reason to be here when travel brings you to the area. I am glad you appreciate our architectural elegance and our efforts to provide service comparable to it's...

Initial contact on reception was terrible - front desk person was rude and disinterested. He acted as if my arrival was a personal inconvenience to him. Holes in the linens (for a luxury hotel?) and shower curtain didn't adequately fit the shower. I expect more from a hotel like this.

The hotel was lovely and the room was nice. You could tell it was an older hotel but the building was truly a site to see. The bathroom was smaller then most hotels but suited me fine.
