My wife and I wandered into the Brown Hotel Breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning recently, and man, we found ourselves in for a treat. We were with a friend, looking for a place to grab a bite, and little did we know we were about the experience a breakfast version of the famous Louisville tradition, the Hot Brown, that...

For a wonderful stay that has it all, choose the beautiful Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville. From it's interesting history to its restored beauty of yesteryear, The Brown is a treat for any type of stay. We were there for a concert at the nearby Palace - walking distance! The staff is extremely nice and helpful, and the decor absolutely...

The old Brown Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I have seen. The rooms are updated and cozy. The bar area is comfortable. The original Hot Brown was delicious!! Friendly knowledgeable staff. The beds are very comfortable (and I am hard to please!).

I recently stayed here with a large group. The hotel staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Lobby was a comfortable place to socialize, eat and drink. We also paid a little extra for the Concierge Level, this was worth it. Access to coffee, water and soft drinks all day. Good...

This hotel has it ALL! I was very pleased with the service from the moment I valeted my car. The lobby is very ornate and beautiful--the decor is original to the hotel which I thought was amazing considering the hotel is approaching 100 years old. Nathan and Erin at the front desk were a real highlight to my stay. They...

Dear Tony B., Thank you so much - our staff greatly enjoyed your review! Nathan, Erin, Michaela and Rana are all great ambassadors for the hotel…appreciate your taking the time to comment. Good to hear you were pleased with our club floor level…between the continental breakfast in the morning and evening hors d'oeuvres and wine/beer, there is a lot of...

I had always wanted to stay in this grand hotel; when my son and I came to Louisville, I jumped at the chance! Unbeknownst to us, we arrived the day before the NCAA Men's Regional Basketball games; The Brown was Villanova's headquarters for the weekend. Even with all that excitement and busyness we had a great two night stay. We...

I contacted The Brown to see if they would help me plan an engagement proposal. From the very first phone call, throughout the entire day, and all the way up to check out the next morning, we were treated like Royalty! My fiancé and I were completely blown away at the entire Brown staff. Every single staff member was SUPERFANTASTIC!...

I stayed at the Brown a couple weeks back because a conference I was attending was being held there. I would definitely go back for a bit of luxury if I were ever to return to Louisville--and there's no reason I wouldn't. The lobby--on floor 2--is like a set from Hollywood's classic age, and plenty of deep, upholstered chairs and...

This is a beautiful, historic hotel. You have to try the legendary "hot brown" sandwich, created by the hotel and a classic. I had a "Kentucky" evening with a hot brown, bourbon and derby pie for dessert. Hotel staff, very friendly. Recommend highly!

If you are going to Louisville you must go to the Brown Hotel and have a Hot Brown. The service was great and the food was great. This is an American Classic if you are food network/travel channel fan.
