We were there a few days over Christmas. Place was decorated very nicely. The dining was pretty great. The upstairs dining room manager Troy knows wines and bourbons extremely well. We had a great dinner. The woman running the café was unbelievable. We were there for the big Christmas buffet and she was always in motion, always checking on the...

Our family stayed at this hotel for 3 days when we went to Louisville for our daughters white coat ceremony at U of L. The hotel was close to every thing we needed, the staff was friendly and there were lots of places to eat near by. The large gift shop was stocked with lots of local items, clothing, Louisville...

What a beautiful historic hotel. We didnt stay over, but definitely stop by for the hot brown in the lobby. We went to the lobby bar and had a hot brown. It was created here. Definitely do this. It was delicious!

Had an amazing experience here and in Louisville. Everyone was so friendly, the hotel was very elegant, and it was fun to "time travel" and stay in such historic ambiance. Would absolutely recommend if you're passing through and need a place to stay!

Loved the ambiance of this beautiful old hotel. The service and people working there were all very helpful, informative and pleasant. The room was large and clean. I felt comfortable letting our 13 year old grandson go to the lobby, gift shop, etc.

I can't say enough about this hotel. The lobby and public areas are lovely, the staff was attentive and friendly, the 10th floor room was perfect. It was an easy walk to 4th Street Live. I was truly shocked at the low price of the room...$159 + taxes, I would have paid twice that and still felt OK about the...

Our room was quiet and comfortable. The service from the staff was prompt and friendly! One nice touch: we played a game of chess on the third floor overlooking the lobby - how calming! Don't miss the bourbon menu at the bar. We would definitely stay again.
