This is a great location for Whiskey Row adventures. We enjoyed being able to walk to the distilleries (don't miss Angel's Envy), the Louisville Slugger Museum and great Main Street food options. Hotel is fun with bar, billiards and food. Rooms are very nicely appointed and

This hotel is phenomenal! It started with our check-in - Katie was very friendly, super-efficient and gave us a fantastic tip for dinner at a local restaurant. The area is very walkable with various bourbon bars and restaurants which was great (if you have time, don't miss the

Wonderful 2 night stay! This hotel is a little different when discussing layout but very clean and modern. I brought my dog too and they made us feel right at home. Dog treats were always readily available and there is a small grassy area right across the street from the hotel.

Does the aloft have valet parking or should I find a commercial lot?
Yes, they have valet parking across the street. We could see our car from our room. That is how close the parking is if choose to park your car on your own.

What nearby mid+ priced places are there to walk to for dinner? Is there valet or overnight parking at the hotel?
Valet at the hotel (or garage very close). Right across the street is Doc Crow’s — seafood or great barbecue (also a bourbon bar).

All of the rooms I experienced were tiny and functional but nothing romantic or with great views. I have no complaints with the hotel but its not a room I would spend a lot of time in. They are super tiny.

"the beds are amazing!"
"Lights are not intuitive. Use chairs with armrests. Don't sell me a little muffin for $4.50, rip off. Closets need more hangers."
"It would be nice to have a menu for the hotel restaurant in the room."
"Corner suites are the way to go as we had one of these rooms at our first stay."
"Comfortable beds and great shower head. I would stay here again. Kelz was GREAT and very knowledgeable."
