My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while traveling along the Bourbon Trail. The mansion is beautifully restored and made me feel like I was transported into history. We arrived late in the evening and our room was ready and very welcoming! Genny, the Innkeeper, welcomed us the next morning with a fabulous breakfast and treats throughout the...

The mansion is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are wonderfully appointed and the location in the Victorian area of Louisville is spot on. The Warren family did a tremendous job restoring the Dupont family mansion. The main floor is decorated in the period, with wonderful antiques and wall treatments and beautiful original fireplaces. It is an easy walk to nearby restaurants...

The DuPont is a beautifully restored historic home furnished throughout with antiques. The owner and manager are very friendly and eager to make ones stay a pleasant experience. There are plenty of cold drinks and snacks available all the time. Wine and bourbon are always in the parlor. There is a nice back porch overlooking the small but pretty backyard....

Warm welcome and wonderful amenities...Genny was great and knowledgeable about the house, the initial tour of the house was informative and inviting. My room was spacious and very clean...located on the second floor next to the upstairs kitchen. Breakfast was delicious and prepared on request. The veranda and garden in the back of the house was well shaded and very...

I was fortunate enough to approach the Dupont through the garden, which was an oasis of shady green in the middle of the city. With flowing water, willow trees, and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the peace. Food was amazing, with plenty of coffee, soft drinks, and nibbles on hand, The decor evokes the spirit of the south, while...

We stayed only 1 night for a weekend trip down in Louisville. Genny was wonderful and met us at the door to show us around the property. The Mansion is in great condition! Our room was clean, bright, and huge! I absolutely loved our bathroom with a fireplace. They even have a second kitchen with snacks for anytime of day....

Stayed over with friend met over 35 yrs ago in Old Louisville when we were in grad school. We each live in other cities now. The DuPont Mansion was the perfect setting for our rendezvous. We took our walks down memory lane of St James Ct, Central Park, U of L, and much more. Toured the Conrad-Caldwell house/museum, which gives...

My wife and I stayed here for a night as a get away. The place is beautiful and clean and everything we expected and more. If you stay here you have to go around the corner to Buck's for dinner. Best food I have had in my life! There is Central Park half a block away and the old historic...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The DuPont Mansion B&B is an historic treasure with modern amenities. The tall ceilings, ornate fireplaces and carved woodwork look and feel like the circa 1889 Victorian Mansion that it is. Yet the high speed free WiFi throughout the Mansion, flat screen TVs in all guest rooms and Jacuzzi tubs in every bath (two are double) provide luxury beyond anything imagined over a century ago. ... more   less
