We concluded our tour of the Bourbon Trail with a night in Louisville at the Dupont Mansion. What a lovely and hospitable home. There isn't any space in the home that looks tired, dusty or neglected. It's sparkly. We were in the Alcott Room on the third floor. The bedding was delightful. The private bathroom was huge. The extra pillows,...

I happened to stumble upon the Du Pont Mansion B&B searching for a place to stay while I was in Kentucky for a weekend. I thought the place to be quite beautiful, charming, and historical. I showed the place to my boyfriend, who right then and there said, this is where we're staying. We agreed on the Andrew Carnegie suite....

I was lucky enough to stay at the Dupont on business and I honestly didn't want to leave. Every inch of the home is beautifully restored and my room and spacious bathroom were lovely. Genny, the innkeeper, made my stay so comfortable and her breakfasts were delicious. She is an added bonus to this gorgeous home. I will return I...

We stayed at the Dupont to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This beautiful b&b is literally a 3 story mansion built in 1879 and has been completely renovated with modern conveniences. There were marble fireplaces and 8 foot tall doors! The furnishings were elegant and top quality. Genny was a delight and made us feel very welcomed. The b&b is surrounded...

We stayed at Dupont the night before a family reunion that was in Louisville. Great stay, lovely drinks (wine and bourbon) were located throughout the house for partaking. Plenty of cold drinks in the fridge - Genny was a delight. Will stay again if opportunity presents itself. We used Lyft to get from Dupont downtown which worked flawlessly and VERY...

I stayed here on a business trip and couldn't have been more pleased. It was beautiful and clean and very homey. The neighborhood was a little sketchy at night but the innkeeper was fantastic and shared lots of stories about the house. I would stay again.

This beautiful mansion became our home for 4 nights and we did not want to leave. We were welcomed with open arms the moment we arrived. Genny made us feel like family and filled our mornings with wonderful stories as we started our day with a big delicious breakfast. The DuPont room was amazing! The quiet neighborhood and king sized...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The DuPont Mansion B&B is an historic treasure with modern amenities. The tall ceilings, ornate fireplaces and carved woodwork look and feel like the circa 1889 Victorian Mansion that it is. Yet the high speed free WiFi throughout the Mansion, flat screen TVs in all guest rooms and Jacuzzi tubs in every bath (two are double) provide luxury beyond anything imagined over a century ago. ... more   less
