In the midst of Historic Louisville is a lovingly restored mansion which has been changed into a beautiful B&B. The main floor has been kept as it was. The sitting rooms are inviting, and the dining room has silver and crystal everywhere. Rudy, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He recommended restaurants and activities which we thoroughly enjoyed. The...

We spent two nights at The Samuel Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn in the old historic area of Louisville. Our hosts Rudy and Jason were so friendly and helpful in all respects. The house is filled with beautiful antiques collected over the years. You could almost feel like you were entering the Victorian era. An elegant home made breakfast...

I don't know where to begin, our stay was simply fantastic. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and Rudy and Jason were wonderful hosts. To address some issues raised in earlier reviews: We parked on the street, but never had an issue finding a spot. Breakfast was fantastic and there was certainly enough offered. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious....

Samuel Culbertson Mansion Inn is the BEST B&B hands down!!! My husband and I drove to Louisville to our original hotel we were suppose to stay at on Friday night only to find out that hotel gave our room away! Garth Brooks was playing this weekend and every hotel within 15 miles had no rooms available at all! So my...

Southern hospitality and charm exudes. Rudy, the owner, was super sweet and a great cook. The Southern Charlotte that he created and served for breakfast with bourbon infused whipped cream was superb! He even shared his recipe. Rooms were large and evoked the era that the home was built, what with the club foot tubs in the bathrooms, the vintage...

I am not one to mince words. My stay at The Samuel Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn was worst of any B&B I have stayed at. After fumbling my way thru the entry, I was greeted by a rather pleasant young man who showed me to my room. After traveling for 10 hours, I found it necessary to use...

In a world increasingly void of meaningful human interaction Rudy, the owner, provides a wonder breath of fresh air with his friendly and welcoming demeanor. Rooms are wonderful, food is fantastic and you will certainly walk away with a smile on your face.

My daughter and I stayed at the Samuel Culbertson House the very beginning of December,2015, as we needed a place close to downtown but all the hotels were sold out for some reason (it wasn't even a weekend). I found this B and B on Trip Advisor and of course, going on past reviews, had every confidence in booking a...

We stayed in the S. Culbertson B&B in January. It was a wonderful experience. The mansion is beautiful, but the furnishings make one think of a museum; unbelievable. Our host was very nice and answered every question this very inquisitive mind could throw at him. Breakfast was wonderful. It was a B&B to remember. We will go back and we...

We stayed one night in the Culbertson Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn in Louisville on Thursday, October 22, 2015. Lovely on the outside, but just wait until the front door is opened. Gracious host will show you to your room as you pass through the lobby which is completely grand and rich. You will pass by the dining room which...
