My wife and I were in Louisville for a business conference which was held at the Brown. The walk was only 5 blocks through a safe neighbourhood. The meals were great, best I have had at any B and B's. Tom and Mary were very good hosts and advised us on places to eat and visit. The room was comfortable...

Neat and clean. Lovely B&B, hospitable couple in historic district. Interstate noise was loud. A few snacks available, however nearly out of many. Needed a crushed ice machine for cold drinks. Forgo the eclectic breakfast of weak fancy flavored coffee. Specialty omelets would do better with plain no frills breakfast and regular java, such as: scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast, bacon,...

First, let me say that this was my first BnB experience, but that the owners Tom and Mary were endlessly hospitable, knowledgeable, and friendly. The homes and rooms were beautiful and clean, and breakfast was wonderful. The only reason we gave a rating of 4 is the location. The lot is gated, so you don't feel unsafe, but it's certainly...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Austin's Inn. It was close to downtown Louisville, very clean with all the amenities we could want. The innkeepers were very accommodating. The property is gated with private parking. It was wonderful!

In town for the Joyce Meyer Conference and wanted to stay close. Austin is a combination of two houses. One is the relaxing area, pool table, couches, DVDs, etc... and the other house is for eating and sleeping. House is gated which is very nice. My room was clean, spacious and has tall ceiling. Plenty big bathroom and had a...

I stayed for the Derby Half Marathon and found that this little place was so much cheaper than one of the downtown hotels. It's about a mile walk from Downtown and has gated parking at no additional charge behind the house. Austin and Mary are absolutely wonderful. It's 2 houses connected with a combination of 10 rooms queen and king...

Just left this delightful inn. Tom and Mary are incredibly gracious hosts. Breakfast was delicious, the room inviting. They get all of the details right! Easy highway access for those traveling. Would love to return some day!

My boyfriend and I were in Louisville for a comedy show two weeks ago. I had arranged for us to stay at Austin's that night. Upon arrival, we pulled through the electronic gates and were greeted by the Austin couple. They were extremely kind and welcoming. Both were outfitted in 'Austin's Place' aprons making it feel like we were checking-in...

Spent the weekend here to visit the Actor's Theatre. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful, but professional. Clean & quiet room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. Walked downtown and to NuLU. A good value and a good location. Would stay here again without a second thought.

Beautiful old historical home with all the comforts of home. Delicious breakfasts, great location for all downtown and area attractions. Hospitality at it's southern best. Highly recommend it you are in the Louisville area.
