This hotel was perfect. The price was very low for such a nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The room had all the basic up to date things you would expect in a nice hotel. Breakfast had a wide variety of good food. I might have heard two semi trucks go by on the nearby hwy. Otherwise it was quiet.

We stayed there 3/18/20 as the corona virus was ramping up so the hotel was not full. We checked in very late (actually 12:13 on the 19th) but the associate at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Sorry I cannot remember her first name (it says SCline on our receipt) but I would not hesitate to hire her for my company. Anyway, the room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and we got a good nights sleep after driving for more than 14 hours. A hot breakfast wasn’t available due to the corona virus but they did serve juices, coffee, tea and one of the best ham biscuits I have ever eaten. The associate at the desk ( SO SORRY I cannot remember her name) was also very friendly so kudos to whoever does the hiring for this location.
We would definitely stay again if we are in Lexington!!

The hotel is right off the freeway in a very convenient location; Cracker Barrel is next door.
The outside of the hotel is very well kept up and the lobby is beautiful! Good parking.
Check in, by Hope, was fast and very friendly (and fun, since I messed up my reservation). She upgraded my to a suite, which was very nice. The room was huge, with a separate sitting room from the bedroom. In the sitting room was a small bar, with the coffee maker and fridge.
The good: Huge room, big, very clean bathroom, very nice bed and bedding, great desk chair, A/C worked well.
The bad: Room 311 is right across from the elevator, the walls are very thin and the freeway noise all night was horrible, A/C was loud, room is right above the awning, so there is lots of light coming in, if the curtains are not closed 100%, very close to ice machine (like it for convenience-or not, for noise), room needs TLC (chipped paint, stained carpet, tired looking couch), doors are VERY heavy and it's almost impossible to close them quietly (one of my pet peeves are people letting their doors slam).
Pool was closed due to 'Covid', but looked very nice from the outside. In the hallways a lot of repairs to chipping paint and banged up doors are needed.
'Covid' breakfast: microwavable sandwiches, yoghurt and sweet 'stuff' was available..... coffee in the lobby (24/7) was very good.
Make sure to ask for a room facing away from the freeway, if you want to get some sleep!
Yes, I would absolutely stay again, in a room facing away from the freeway, because the room was clean, spacious and staff was very nice.

Thank you for your feedback. We are unfortunately located by the interstate. We do offer ear plugs and white noise machines at the front desk. All of our double queen rooms do face the back side and away from the interstate noise. I am sorry you were not able to enjoy your room and get rest. I hope you will consider staying with us if you come through Lexington KY again. Sincerely Audra Conley

Nothing special here. Just about as expected. Staff seemed a bit overworked/short but that's everywhere now. Hallway felt a little damp and dimly lit. Continental breakfast was top notch for a $100 hotel room. We chose this hotel primarily as we knew we would get in pretty late but wanted a hotel that had a pool open past 9PM. This hotel has an 11PM pool. It was nothing special but again, it was decent and the kids enjoyed it. A/C worked very well and beds were sufficient. We were rather pleased with our room. The bathroom tub was about 1/2 newly caulked and half that wasn't which made it looks super cheap and super trendy. TV was ok although its very old school without an electronic guide so you had to actually flip channels to find what you wanted (the horror, right?). Overall, a pleasant stay although nothing it's immediately say stopped us in our tracks.

The front desk was amazing and the breakfast was great considering all the COVID 19 restrictions. Decor was nice and I liked the layout. They were so kind to my kids and made them feel welcome.
The hotel is in a “transition period” from getting a few new renovations. However, two things that haven’t made the “transition” raised concerns for me.
One being the doors. They did not have the ulock or chain lock installed on the new doors. As a mother traveling with kids, this concerned me. There was no way for me to keep the door cracked to have a conversation with someone on the other side. That’s an obvious security concern. Also, there was nothing that could keep my kids inside the room if they were sleepwalking in the middle of the night. Even the bolt lock will unlock if the door is opened from the inside.
When I asked about it, management offered no solution other than putting something in front of the door, which would be a fire hazard. They also said the locks had just come in, so hopefully they have been installed by now. As a result, I hardly slept because I was worried about my kids being able to walk into the hall at any moment.

Also, there wasn’t a rubber strip between the carpet and tile. Several times my kids stepped on the carpeting nails and ended up with small scabs on the bottom of their feet. Just seems like many small details are overlooked. But when traveling with 5 kids, I expect safety and security to be the bare minimum at a hotel.

Elizabeth, Thank you somuch for your review. I am so very sorry about the issue of not having the safety locks on the doors yet. We have since then finished installing them on every door. Where we had just replaced the doors on the floor you were on maintenance had not been able to install those yet. Of course this did not help with your stay with us and I am sincerely sorry. We have also since then replaced the transition strips in the rooms which was also from replacing the doors. Thank you again for your review and I hope you will consider staying with us in the future. Sincerely Audra Conley

Beware of bed bugs. beware that if you find one in your room they will not compesate you. They will move you into another room . The GM Amy will give you a false perception that they will rectify the situation but they will not. I found a bed bug crawling on my pillow at 1030pm. I took the bed bug to the front desk and asked to be moved. I was moved from a double into a king with 3 people in my party due to no availablilty of a double that night. One of the most uncomfortables nights I have ever had at a hotel. The next day I was moved into a double. Upon check out I spoke to the manager( who never conveyed she was the manager) about a refund. Was advised by the GM(AMY) to call the 3rd party I booked through and they would call the hotel to verify the incident and a refund could be given. I did just that and the GM(amy)informed them she could only refund me $50.00 as i received a upgrade. Moving from 2 beds into 1 with 3 people now in 1 bed is not a upgrade. Nor moving all your things a 11pm at night is an upgrade. Nor finding a bed bug crawling on your pillow is a upgrade. Then later told by the hotel they do not have issues with bed bugs. Meanwhile they are listed on the Bed Bug Registry for KY. There is alot of other hotels in the area please continue to look at another hotel to stay.

Outstanding staff and made the stay perfect. Hotel was clean and comfy. Centrally located next to a Cracker Barrel, which was convenient because we arrived in a torrential storm. Clean bathroom and plenty of towels. We’ll worth the stay. Taking to the front desk staff was pleasant and were extremely courteous and polite.

For around $100 per night this remodeled older hotel was just fine. It had a small indoor pool that my small kids loved and the free breakfast was very nice, set in a newly remodeled lobby and dinning area.
Downsides were the bland blank walls in the room, the slightly damaged tile and wall in the bathroom, and the ac/heat in our suite. The suite we stayed in had a door between the bedroom and the living area, but there was a giant opening above the door (I'm guessing for the heat and ac to get thru) which defeats the point of having a door for noise reasons. There was also no air conditioning or heat register in the living area, only the wall/window unit in the bedroom and the thermostat was in the living area, so if you closed the door between them, the living area became VERY hot since we were on the 5th floor and it didn't have any air flow.
And there are no extra pillows in the entire building according to the front desk. So maybe bring a couple extras if there's more than 2 of you.

The room was so clean and did not have the standard musty hotel smell. It smelled great! The most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in. The room we stayed in was fairly small and had a unique layout, but met every need of my husband and I for the night. Upon checking in, there was an issue with our Booking.com reservation. Zaneta at the front counter was so nice and helpful in working out the issue. She went above and beyond for us in making sure we were accommodated. As with all other hotels during this time, the breakfast is limited. However, there were still several food options and you are not limited to a bagel and yogurt like we were at other hotels that week. Out of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our 2400 mile road trip, this one wins, hands down!

The hotel is great and well maintained. But the breakfast was awful. I understand the precautions that must be taken during Covid. But to provide only a meat option for the one sandwich provided in this era when many Americans are vegetarian and even vegan is just unacceptable. In addition, cereal is basic to the American breakfast and can be safely provided with an individual portion cereal and carton of milk. This was the case at every other hotel on my trip. Even the fruit option was limited to oranges when I was a guest.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you did not enjoy the grab and go breakfast options. We do offer oats, yogurt, muffins, pastry, and doughnuts. I may try to start offering cereal if I am allowed to put the milk in the counter fridge. I do know that most hotels are only offering a granola bar, fruit and a muffin in a bag so we do try to offer as much as we can with still making sure we are following restrictions provided by the health department. Thank you again for your feedback and I hope you will stay with us again. Sincerely Audra Conley

No, it isn't safe. Our car was robbed while parked in the lot. See full review. Also, the Lexington Police have an interactive app that you can use (pick your date range to research) that shows it is not a safe area.
