Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington has garnered a reputation for inconsistency, with some guests praising the cleanliness of the rooms, while others point to substandard cleaning and a lack of supplies. The hotel's atmosphere combines a dated charm with eye-catching pool landscaping, though the overall ambiance may feel somewhat stale. Travelers often highlight issues with service, noting a lack of responsiveness and organizational problems. The rooms, criticized for outdated decor and odor issues, along with hidden fees and minimal breakfast options, contribute to the opinion that the hotel does not provide good value for the cost.

The only reason this hotel is getting even two stars is because they did have a nice patio, however no chairs on the patio we had to go buy our own. Not even sure where to start but let's just go with a blood spot on the comforter, no blanket at all just a bedspread, the sheets were so scratchy they felt like sandpaper and my daughter and I had to sleep with clothes on because the first night irritated our skin so badly. I was quoted a price of $132 for my room but was charged $15 more for some reason. When I asked the night clerk about it, he was snotty with me so I just said forget it. The bathroom was very small and the toilet so low to the ground that you almost fell over when sitting on it. It was also extremely hard to flush. No toiletries offered, except for one small tiny bottle of shampoo, not even enough for one person. The towels are not even large enough to go around your entire body so if you're someone of size, you're not going to get dried off unless you use several. Their idea of a continental breakfast was a small tiny paper bag with half of a granola bar and a coffee cake and juice box. The staff was also rude upon check-in and also rude when I asked about the breakfast. Wifi is spotty at best. The hallways wreaked of cigarette smoke and weed, even though there are clearly no smoking signs throughout and on the room doors. The mirrors in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, and only one chair in the room with the table. Would not stay here again unless absolutely desperate. Maybe the one good thing was that it did have a restaurant and bar attached to it but it was closed very early and we didn't get a chance to see how it was.

I received my reservation statement days before check-in. At check-in I was charged extra for the room safe. I was too tired and did not realize the charge until the next morning when I checked my bank status. The morning desk clerk was pleasant and explained every room has a safe and each guest is charged $3 +tax for the 'convenience'. He reversed the charge, but I advised that the management should let Wyndham Corp know about the additional fee.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was weak and the bathroom sink did clog and was slow to drain after five minutes. The price of the room is not bad and I got what I expected if I wanted an outstanding room, I will need to pay outstanding prices. The location is good off the interstate and the money you save on the room you can put towards gas or a leisurely fun in downtown Lexington. Good place for overnight or even a few nights day. Plan on having breakfast elsewhere since it is sack lunch. just a heads up on that if you are a heavy breakfast eater. The staff was about average no names to speak of as a shout out. Overall I recommend.

They lie when they say they have a "continental breakfast". What they offer is a "budget airline snack" of a tiny juice box and a granola bar.

During our 4 day stay our room was never serviced despite two face to face requests to the front desk. Our trash was never emptied, our bathroom was never cleaned, we never received a refresh of soap and shampoo or of towels. We had to go to the front desk every day for fresh towels. Also, despite the fact we had a four day reservation and they had our credit card on file, they only programmed our key card for one day at a time.

They have also created a safety hazard in their bathtubs. They have installed curved shower rods but too low. The shower curtains bunch at the bottom so either you put the curtain in the tub and take the chance of tripping on it in the tun or put it outside the tub abd take the chance of slipping on the wet floor when you get out.

We usually stay at the Ramada up the road for their indoor pool but because it was closed we thought we would try this facility for a lower price. Big mistake. One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had and I have stayed in hotels on 4 continents and in several third world countries

My husband and I booked a 3-night stay here. I booked a king jacuzzi suite which looked NOTHING like the pictures. The jacuzzi was not actually “in” the room as it showed. It was in the bathroom with the toilet and an open wall so that you could literally lay in bed and watch someone use the toilet or shower. There was a door on the opposite end of the bathroom but it did no good. We asked to be moved to a regular King room cause I decided I didn’t want to use the dirty looking jacuzzi anyways. So they switched us rooms to the bottom floor in the smelly hallway. The room was disgusting. There was dirt and black dust right under where our heads laid under the bed. The bathroom was disgusting. There was dust on the lamps and alarm clock so bad you could tell no one dusted. I’m not very picky and my husband and I travel a lot. This was by far the worst we have ever seen.
The area was also shady with shady characters hanging around. Probably because There is also a bar attached to the hotel.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I felt disgusted and unsafe. We decided just to check out and find another place, which we did. I didn’t bother asking for a refund. We just left. The guy at the counter didn’t even ask why. Like, why would I pay $276 for 3 nights and leave by 9 the next morning?? Please be aware of this place and definitely check out my pics.

We found this property to be very sub-standard. First, it is a old property, maybe 50 years old, and has not been properly maintained for a number of years. The exterior is rotten in overhangs and impressions are depressing. Upon arrival, the clerk was behind a protective shield and rather defensive. We were assigned our two room suite on the second floor. Two 80+ seniors and another near 60, guess what? The elevator was broken! After a struggle to climb stairs with 3 suitcases, we arrived at the dirtiest, smelling, disgusting rooms I’ve seen. The two bathrooms were leaking tubs, mismatched tile, and gobs of caulking between the tiles. Unfortunately the suite was prepaid in advance and other options were not available. After planning our trip for months ahead, other attractions had been reserved and paid for. We expected our room to be cleaned after leaving the first day, but we’re told cleaning were only done on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Unfortunately our reservation didn’t include both days we stayed. Neither were clean laundry items. Pictures posted on Trip Advisor were very deceiving. Please don’t expose your loved ones to this garbage dump!

The only part that was nice of this place was the friendly staff. The room was disgusting. They say and offer non smoking rooms but the whole hotel smells like an ash tray. The room we were put in was a non smoking room but the room reeked of smoke so bad that even our cloths the next morning smelled like smoke. Room was dirty and had not been cleaned. Bath tub faucet leaked would not shut off. Room was very out dated even though we were told it was a new room and they had just remodeled it. Wall paper peeling off the walls at the seems. Bed sheets were dirty and had not been changed. Over all experience was just plain disgusting. I’m surprised the hotel has not been shut down for health reasons. Complained to the front desk about everything and all they did was gave me a card for 10% off my next visit.....really 10% thats nothing. Will never stay there again.

During my recent 3-night stay there was no housekeeping service offered.
The complimentary breakfast listed as an amenity was a brown paper sack with a Sunny Delight drink and a granola bar. This is a far cry from other standard breakfast options at other Days Inns & Suites locations.

The building is a little dated, but we had a great experience. Special shout out to the maintenance guys, Tim & Randy. We had a minor issue with the batteries needing replacement in the room lock. These two guys were "on it" immediately. They were very courteous and friendly. Excellent services by these too. Couldn't ask for more support than what these two did. Thanks!

Dear Mr. Isaiah, I am not sure how far the High School is from this hotel, but with both addresses, you can easily map it from Google or a computer. It has easy access to the interstate and the road it is on goes straight downtown. The breakfast hours are something like 6:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. if I remember correctly, and there was cereal, muffins, bacon, breakfast sandwiches. May have been waffles; it was a full breakfast selection, I have had better at other hotels, but also less selection at hotels. There are at least two floors, and I am not sure if there is an elevator. You can call the hotel to find out the prices of the room selections, or check on-line. It was a good enough hotel for overnight, but if you want more amenities, there are other hotels around there that may offer more. My advice is to call the front desk of the hotel and ask questions, as things do change with hotel management.

I apologize that your experience was anything less than satisfying. Our goal is to not only meet the needs of each and every guest we serve, but to exceed your expectations to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. I apologize if there seemed to be some sort of odor that was displeasing. Obviously, this not common. It would be very difficult to rent rooms with an odor. I wish my staff or I had been made aware of your concerns during your stay so we may have addressed them. Please contact me directly so we may discuss this further and I may research your stay to pin point your issue. Thank You Nathan Dodge 859-299-1202
