The Manchester Hotel garners praise for its opulent amenities, including a celebrated rooftop bar and cozy, well-appointed rooms, with the overall cleanliness of the establishment frequently commended by guests. While the service is generally recognized for its friendliness and dedication, some have experienced delays, notably with the valet. The hotel's ambiance, characterized by stylish decor and pulsating music, adds to the allure, though it may be overwhelming for some. Despite the allure of the luxurious rooms, their size may become restrictive during extended stays, and guests often note that the hotel's high costs don't always match the quality and consistency of service received.

Cool vibe and great music in the lobby. Rooms are attractive but lack storage space for more than 2-3 days. Shower is enormous but you have to walk out of hot water to reach the shampoo, soap etc. The bathroom could also use more hooks to hang wet towels if you want to reuse them. The mattress on our bed was overdue for replacement, there was a definite valley on both sides, and I would have preferred a firmer pillow. Staff at the front desk varied in helpfulness. Lobby bar staff were terrific.

This new rustic and horse inspired hotel has quite the scene. With comforts abound, they have thought of so many details to make your stay a breeze. You will find well-appointed rooms with a comfortable bed, arched doorways and shower, a staycation package as part of the mini bar, and many more amenities. The rooftop bar area, lost palms is a must visit whether you are a guest of the hotel, in town for a visit or live locally. Grandam serves high quality chef inspired food which is creative and delicious. The care team at the hotel is well trained and at your disposal took after you while you visit. Can't wait for my next stay at the Manchester

Cool hotel! Great location. Loved the decor. Bed was very comfortable. Slept like a rock. Will stay again! Ate at the Grand Dam. Good food. Valet parking was $24; overnight parking was $20, so we used valet. Online check-in / check-out didn’t really work, but not a big deal.

First time staying in Lexington. I booked a room at the Manchester because it was supposed to be a high-end hotel. I was there with my daughter to celebrate her birthday! The AC did not work during our stay. Maintenance was sent to our room and he could not fix the problem. He told us that someone was coming that evening to work on the hotel HVAC because we were not the only guests who did not have a working AC. However, the AC never worked during our stay. It was so warm in our room I was sweating and I could not sleep.
When we checked out and requested my car from valet, there was a delay because valet had misplaced my keys. When my car was finally returned to me, there was noticible damage to my vehicle. I had purchased my vehicle two days before my stay, it still had dealership tags. When the valet returned it to me, it was scratched and dented on the front. I promptly reported the issue to both the hotel and valet, and I requested that the security footage be reviewed. I was told multiple times that management and valet would call me back, and it has not happened. I even sent an email with a detailed communication log. Nothing has been resolved and I never received a call-back like I was repeatedly promised.
I have never felt compelled to leave a bad hotel review, but I have never had this terrible of an experience. I advise all potential guests to reconsider their lodging choices! Apparently, issues with both the AC and valet have been ongoing and I wish I had payed attention to reviews and seen these patterns before I booked. You will not receive even the most basic of service standards at this hotel. They do not care about customer experience, customer property, or communication.

Hi Natalie, thank for taking the time to speak with us after your stay and share your experience on TripAdvisor. I'm truly disappointed your visit was anything short of perfect. Cassie continuously updated the management team as she worked with you and all departments towards resolution. I'm so sorry you felt you were ignored - certainly not the case. We would still love an opportunity to welcome you back and deliver the intended experience. Very Best, Gabe

Fine hotel with over-the-top, luxurious accommodations! Stellar experience for hotel room, and I can't say enough good things about how beautiful it was. Highly recommend the hotel! BUT, we ate dinner in the Granddam Restaurant. My husband had something they called Southern Fried Chicken, but it was not. It had a hard crust with pecans and garlic in the crust or something like that. I had ham rolls and they were terrible. The music was loud and boisterous and dumbed down the quality of the dining experience. On a 1 to 10, I would give the hotel rooms a 20 if I could... So extremely wonderful! But absolutely do not recommend the restaurant. Very, very expensive, very loud hip-hop music, and not good food. Would give the restaurant a zero, so sorry for the half and half review. But do book a room here and eat elsewhere. I hope this review will help this up and coming hotel complex.

As locals, we just wanted to have a drink at the bar (rooftop closed for private event) but the SELF-parking across the street was $30. Ridiculous and uninviting. I wanted to leave but my wife convinced me to stay. The staff are friendly at least, but there is an uptight vibe.

We went to the rooftop bar only
I did not use the hotel
Facilities so this is just a review of the rooftop bar

The view is ok at best- it may be better once they finish the work on the park but now all u see is a painted rooftop and the trains.
Save yourself and don't go.
One of the worst mixologist I have ever experienced. They charge big city prices for basically premixed punch. We know this because my friend asked for a virgin style of one of their signature cocktails and the waitress told us that it was premixed!!!!!
They did not know how to make a
Cosmopolitan - I have never sent a drink back but had to send this one back.

Extremely disappointing experience

The Lost palm is Not a restaurant it IS THE ROOF TOP BAR they have maybe have 5 apps no real food. The waitress was as friendly as she HAD to be, all the staff walked around like they were angry you were there. The Granddam has no to-go food not even staying in the hotel. Really?! we're staying in the hotel and can't order any food and there's no room service. Not to mention there is ZERO free parking. It's the definition of extortion, you have no choice but to pay 24$!! A day to park. Or across the street for 20$; charge extra for the room and add parking. Absolutely ridiculous. For almost 300$ a night. This was a major disappointment especially for my birthday. Only plus was the fluffy robes that's it that's all I have nice to say about the place, and managed to sleep till about 6 am when the children above us started running around, the sound machine couldn't drown any of it out. I guess they forgot the sound proofing. Upscale LOOK and Charges NOT upscale service.

We recently stayed at The Manchester on January 27th to celebrate my husband’s birthday in the Manchester Suite and it was the PERFECT staycation for my husband myself and our two kids! The two bedroom suite had full size bunk beds for the kids that were so beautiful we want to build our own! We were greeted by Emma at the front desk and she was amazing. Went up to the beautiful suite and they had a birthday message and dessert for my husband ❤️ We have traveled extensively and stayed at The Four Seasons and Ritz and this is bringing that luxury and detail to Lexington! Design was beautiful! Thank you so much Gabe we will be back ASAP!!

I was so obsessed with our stay at this perfectly curated hotel that my social media feeds briefly morphed into Manchester Hotel appreciation sites. I'll hit the highlights: 1) The gorgeous interior design. [Chef's kiss.] What was the budget for Zellige tile for this place? Apparently, the guestroom color scheme had an effect on me, because after returning from our trip we made a planned visit to the furniture store, and navy and olive came home with me, to the point that my spouse finally had to connect the obvious dots that my subconscious was recreating the Manchester. 2) The bars. We did not have time this trip to visit the Granddam, but we logged hours in the lobby bar (more gorgeous tile!) and the seriously cool, Palm Beach-inspired rooftop bar (that palm-thatched light fixture!). Bartenders and servers were so knowledgeable and friendly. 3) The little details. Saddle tan leatherette trashcan? Check. Possibly the best in-room bar situation I have ever encountered? Check. Music running over the welcome screen on the TV that could have been my own playlist and made me wonder if someone had stalked my Spotify? Shazam deployed, two songs downloaded (thanks for the recs!). Even the scent of the space was perfect. I THINK that I sleuthed it out, and I'm keeping the formula to myself. We will be back, multiple times!
