We were given a B&B gift certificate and decided to use it as a stop over on a trip to NH. What a wonderful choice we made.Rick and Lorrie are gracious hosts. Their home, when we asked them about it, has been a labor of love. They have spent countless hours making this 150 yr. old home the beautiful place it...

This review is a little delayed but I just had to leave a note since we were so happy with our experience at Mariaville and with Rick and Lorrie. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights in late March, not long after we got engaged we needed a break from the family and planning so chose the location...

My family stopped at this lovely bed and breakfast on our way from Toronto to Cape Cod. Since we had a six-year-old and my mom with us we decided to break up the long drive. This turned out to be a perfect place to rest. We bought dinner nearby and brought it back to eat on the dock. Then we...

We were looking for a relaxing, restful get away and we found it and more. We live in a very busy area outside Baltimore, MD and wanted to get away. Rick and Lorrie were very friendly and the cottage was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. They even provided plenty of staples that were beyond our expectations....

We loved staying at Rick and Lorrie's bed and breakfast from July 20-22. They were probably the most congenial hosts we've ever had--very welcoming, friendly, helpful, yet respectful of our privacy. I loved the smell, look, and feel of the old house, including the quaint steps leading upstairs, which were green and painted with cityscapes. Our room (the Lakeview room)...

We were directed to the B&B by the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce. The B&B is about an hour's drive from Cooperstown but the scenery was so beautiful that the drive did not seem that long. This was our first B&B stay and we were not sure what to expect. Rick and Lorrie greeted us with smiles and we immediately felt...

Perfect balance of accommodating our requests (e.g., dietary) while protecting our privacy. Both Rick and Lorrie are good listeners. Food delicious. Grounds relaxing. No negatives on our 3-night stay.
