My friend had a wedding here, the service was appallingly bad, worst attitude ever. If they could get it wrong , they did, all they were interested in was ripping people off for rooms they denied had been promised at a lower rate.
Went to a 50th bash. The lady was promised sole occupancy of the restaurant but the greedy manager booked other people into the restaurant. This meant there was no room to move and the waitresses hit heads with the food whilst serving.

Hi. Only just checked my emails so apologies for the delay. It certainly sounds like this is the same place I visited in the summer. However, I don't recall seeing an annexe with pool table. Your description of the surrounding fields and the very small bar area are spot on. The Live & Let Live is set back off the road and nestles in the dip of the road. Hope this helps in some way.
