We stayed in a cabin rather than a lodge room. It was a very large room accessed by quite a few steps. The room was strangely laid out but survivable. The bathroom (including toilet) was tiny and cramped - definitely a one person at a time room. Considering the size of the cabin, the bathroom was shortchanged. Very big minus....

I was pleasingly surprised to discover that my room was actually housed in a duplex cabin, one of a grouping adjacent to the hotel (which also has rooms.) The room was quite large, included a wet bar with microwave, refrigerator, and multi-cup coffee pot. There were large windows across two sides of the room - a plus for many but...

We went to visit the lodge the first week in May, 2017. The environment was very rustic. I loved the falls and since it had been raining a lot there was a great deal of water in the river. I requested a room, following the link to stay in the Lodge. I found out when we got there that the...

Made reservation for lodge. Ask for a disability room with 2 queen bed or a room on first floor. Wife has had 2 strokes and MS. I was told sure they had a 1 room 2 bed Deluxe 4 Queen. I missed the 4 Queen. Sure, I should have read the confirmation a little closer. We drove form Texas 850...

My husband and I visited this park to see the infamous moonbow. It is a beautiful park. We stayed in a little cabin, which has all the basics. It's very clean despite the age but that is expected when visiting camp grounds. The grounds are well kept with lots of awesome trails although they are poorly marked.

Husband & I came on our motorcycle for nature & Skynrd concert in Corbin. Bike friendly with good riding roads. Lodge is a bit tired but still nice & better than a hotel. Excellent wi-fi & good line up of cable stations. Stayed in a King suite. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Room offered a pull out sofa &...

I loved our stay here. This lodge is old, but it adds to it's charm. Our room was small, but we did not need anything larger. The room was clean and the staff is friendly. Hiking trails are marked and easy to follow. The dining room and it's view was awesome. Our meals were also good and reasonably priced. We...

If you stay at state parks you should be aware that most are older, designed by the government and built by the lowest bidder. So they are always a risk. But you also know they are often run by dedicated people who do a lot with a meager budget. Cumberland Falls is very typical of a state park, old but...

Cabin 520 is in a beautiful location but it's not getting cleaned or maintained and has insect issues. There were large quantities of small flying bugs coming up from the drain in the shower. I killed some but they kept coming ultimately making me feel the shower was too gross for use. During the night more bugs came out in...

Dupont Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The food in the dining room was good and plentiful. We came mostly for the hiking and found plenty of it. It was a misty, overcast day so when we hiked for 11 miles we only saw 4 people. The trails are very well...
