This was my first B&B experience and will be my last. Pros: Nice owners, large clean room and bathroom, very close to several distilleries, very close to restaurants. Cons: uncomfortable bed, bland breakfast and coffee, family style almost forces you to make sm talk with random strangers, I could hear ppl above us so I'm sure they could hear us,...

This is a lovely B&B with three very pretty and comfortable rooms. The owners are happy to tell you all about Bardstown, which they obviously love. It was a lovely stay. I wasn't as crazy about the town - it was very small with not a lot to do - but it is in close proximity to Maker's Mark and...

Beautiful Dreamer Bed and Breakfast is a most wonerful place to stay. I found out it was designed to be a bed and breakfast and it is part of the reason it is so great. If you are a fan of B&Bs, and you are visiting Bardstown, Kentucky, treat yourself to a wonderful stay at the Beautiful Dreamer! Even though the building is approximately 20 years old, it combines charm with more up-to-date amenities. Within walking distance is Kurtz restaurant. Very enjoyable.

Dan and Lynell (owners) provided wonderful Kentucky hospitality. Their home is specious, beautifully appointed and in such a convenient location to shopping, the bourbon trail, restaurants, and historical landmarks. We will be back!! Over the top breakfasts and amenities!

This place was amazing. It is everything a B&B should be. It was impeccably clean, charming, comfortable, decorated beautifully, ideally located for the Bourbon Trail. The view of My Old Kentucky Home was lovely especially at night. The hostess is a fantastic cook and the host told great stories.

Great location. Immaculately clean. Tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfasts with different table settings each day. Owners are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. Reasonable rates.

We have been staying at the Beautiful Dreamer for many years. Dan & Lynell Ginter are wonderful hosts (gracious and accommodating) - providing not only a beautiful, restful home but a breakfast that is second to none! You will not be disappointed in any of the rooms...but the "Beautiful Dreamer" is absolutely the best.

Very comfortable and well kept accommodations. The couple running this B&B was so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was to die for and the conversation at the table engaging. Convenient across the street walk to a restaurant. Short drive to nearby distilleries if that is your inclination. It was a very pleasant stay. I would give it a high recommendation.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here celebrating our 1st anniversary. The house was beautiful and the hosts were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast, but wont be our last!

“We were on the ground floor. The guests above us got up very early, 5:30 or so, and made a racket until they left an hour or so later. I suspect that this is not a common occurrence.”

“US 150 in this area connects Springfield to Bardstown and it runs directly in front of the inn; which means lots of traffic noise. Cars as well as trucks use the route. We found the traffic noise began around 5:30am and to be continuous until about 10-10:30pm. There is no public transit on this route. There are sidewalks into town. I only point this out; we had no problem sleeping as traffic was not an issue during sleep hours for us.”
