This inn was restored fairly recently to reflect when it was a stop on the railroad running to Waterville. Of course, it is updated with WiFi, TV and modern baths. It is mainly staffed with volunteers. Overall, the hotel is very clean and everyone very friendly. A quite adequate and tasty breakfast is provided. It is a unique place to...

This is a charmingly restored old hotel. It is a community project, and community pride shows in the results. Our three night group stay was a quilting retreat for a dozen long-term friends. We were treated like royalty. The meals were home-made, but definitely not drab. The pork loin was special. The lasagna was the best I have had in...

We rented the rooms at this charming bed and breakfast for our wedding party and parents. The rooms are decorated with antique furniture, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms efficient. The best part of this hotel is the welcoming nature and hospitality of the group of volunteers who keep the B&B in running order, schedule reservations, and provide breakfast...

This hidden gem in the Flint Hills of Kansas was such a delight, and truly unique. The hotel is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored by a phenomenal group of persistent volunteers in Waterville. In fact, the hotel is run by those volunteers, who check you in, answer questions about the property and serve your breakfast. The...

I stayed at this hotel in late July. The whole experience was wonderful. I booked rooms 5 and 8. Both were immaculate and comfortable. Room 5 had two beds that were separated by a half wall which gave plenty of privacy. The room was very large, and the bathroom was huge as well. I had a delicious breakfast both mornings...

I have lots of ancestors in the area so I have made many family research and reunions in that area. it is a great place to stay. The ladies are all very friendly. It is super clean and there is a cookie in your room everyday. A wonderful step into the past with all the modern day conveniences..

This off the beaten path Gem is worth the drive!! We had the pleasure of being guests of the Weaver Hotel several days this past May. Our son was married nearby and we hosted the rehearsal dinner here and housed the wedding party & our family here, also. Sandy & Sharon (and the other ladies) were superb hosts! From helping...

The Weaver Hotel is worth the effort to go to Waterville, Kansas. The hotel is a community project restoring a 1905 railroad hotel to elegant accomodations. The staff are almost totally community volunteers. The rooms are furnished in period local Victorian antiques. The rooms are large and very clean. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room 1...

Charming, clean, quiet weekend get-away... This restored hotel is a fabulous find! We were warmly greeted by the hotel manager as she made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast served the next morning was absolutely delicious. This was the perfect stop-over while we birded around Tuttle Creek Resevoir and explored the Alcove Spring site.
