This review is for the Country Inn in Sterling. The Sterling Inn was purchased, renamed and completely renovated in 2014, with enlarged rooms, a new roof, a breakfast area, etc. I was the 1st guest in the re-opened motel last week. The new owner, Jay, is very nice and has invested a lot of money in this renovation. He even...

A quiet place to get away with someone special! Be sure to call them after you book if you book on line and want a jacuzzi in the room because you will only get a steam shower in a spacious room. The design is Mediterranean..no carpet, wood floors. They specialize in couples and there were no kids that we saw...only...

Stayed here one night while passing through. Over 100* in the shade, so no camping for me. Room was clean and most of the fixtures worked; lots of water pressure and real quiet neighbors. The place is a bit run down and I would suggest it only for the adventurous spirit and hearty soul. I personally think a lot of...

Kenny B. Love it here every time I stay here. I feel at home and the kindness of the lady in charge, Jackie, is remarkable. Cheap motel but it is always kept clean and doesn't smell at all. I highly recommend the place.Very clean older motel.

Jackie has the motel cleaned up and looking nice. Looks like she is even trying to do some remodelling. Yeah it's an older motel...

If you *really* feel the need to go here, send me a message on TA and I will reply directly. In a nutshell, Sterling Inn was once a great place for couples and families. The original owners sold it off to a middle eastern family, and the place just went from 4 stars to none. Absolutely horrifying what they did...

I took a bicycle trip from Oklahoma to Nebraska and after camping for two nights and a long, hot ride with a headwind, I was looking forward to a motel room and a hot bath. I didn't think I had the energy to ride another 10 miles in 95 degree heat to Lyons. In the office, there were several signs...
