Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a wonderful stay at this caravan park! The kind owner took great care of my husband and me. The prices were reasonable, and the on-site cafe offered delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The beautiful lake and scenic views added to the charm of our stay. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Joined trip advisor just so we could leave a review! Absolutely loved our stay. House was comfy and perfect for the 7 of us. Loved having a bath for the kids and the laundry saved my sanity. Owners are wonderful and went above and beyond. Food was amazing, great coffee and a little store saved us when we forgot things. Game room was perfect for the kids (free air hockey and fools ball table) and just space for them to hang while it rained.
Only regret is we only stayed 2 nights. Can’t wait to return next year and explore the property and see what the new owners have done.

As a single female, doing a solo hiking and camping trip, I felt very looked after by the family that own the Midland Caravan Park. The hospitality, kindness and picturesque landscape made my mini-break that much sweeter. Thanks. I’ll be back!

Well mixed review here. We stayed in the 4 bedroom cottage which was reasonable but at $295 per night for 10 people we had mixed thoughts. Credit to the owners for addressing our concerns via email but the property is looking old but has been renovated to a point internally and was neat and clean as promised.
The park is unique but we did enjoy our stay. Pictures are for feedback purposes and show the negative side of the 4 bedroom cottage but we did enjoy the stay overall but want to be honest with some of the pitfalls as well. Thanks again!

A great park for getting out of the rat race. Plenty to do in the area. 4WD, sightseeing fishing and hunting or just relaxing. Van sites are level even though you are set in side of a hill. Plenty of shade. Toilets and showers clean and adequate.

Big games room. But bring $$. Neither of the ovens or stoves work. Cigarette butts on the floor. Office always smelt strongly of cigarettes. Don't book a cabin or camp near the toilet block, you might be grossly awakened by disrespectful loud gronks filming what sounded like po*n in there. 🤮

Excellent spot amongst beautiful country views and great service from the owners. Full cafe with tasty food and very good coffee makes another reason to stop here. Located close to lakes and mountain views with clean amenities and very friendly reception from the owners and family. Great camp kitchen with games, a swimming pool onsite and also pet friendly. Good family atmosphere with excellent service- highly recommend this spot.

Great little park with fantastic owners. Very clean amenities and great camp kitchen/ rec room. Good size sites with acres of power free sites to choose from. THe bonus is the onsite cafe with good prices and a great range of meals. Rates don’t increase over the holiday long weekends which is a bonus. We checked this park out for our caravan club. We will return 🤗

I recently stayed at Midland Holiday Park for a long weekend with friends and family. Despite the fact that we booked at separate times they were very accommodating in getting us sites next to each other which was greatly appreciated. In all the owners and their children were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were happy.

This caravan park is very basic, however the pool was great and our kids had a great time in it. Furthermore, the onsite cafe was fantastic. There was a great menu with very reasonable prices. What's more it was all delivered to our tent.

My only criticism is that the rec room/kitchen area should be 'no smoking' as this put us off using it.

In all, this was a lovely caravan park and I'd recommend it to others.

Thank you for your review. Our rec room/camp kitchen is a no smoking area. We are in the process of upgrading it and will ensure that the signage is clearly visible. Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Pearl319. The only time you need to pay a fee is if you're staying the night. Otherwise you are most welcome to come and visit free of charge. All we ask is that visitors report to the office before entering the park. Cheers, Kay @ Midland Holiday Park.
