Detailed Reviews
Stayed in one of the cabins for a week while painting a mural in the Rochester Mural Festival and it was just perfect. From the time you check-in with Jenny and Steve to the time you leave you feel welcomed, and nothing was too much bother. On the way to the cabin, we noticed how clean and inviting the park is, then you walk in too the cabin and WOW, it is beautifully presented with everything you need for a long or short stay. Everyone staying there were friendly and up for a chat.
then at night it is a very peaceful place for a perfect night's sleep. Just a short walk to town there are lots of nice places to eat.

We stayed here for a week and used it as a base to travel out and explore the area. It is a well maintained park with good sized sites. A new camp kitchen will soon be completed and this will further enhance a fine park. Rochester is a friendly town and an excellent base.

We spent 2 nights at the Riverside Holiday Park in our caravan. The sites are huge and the amenities are excellent. The park is very well maintained, the camp kitchen and amenities block are spotless. Jenni and Stephen do a fantastic job maintaining and managing the park. Would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

A beautiful peaceful caravan park that is extremely well maintained. Lush green grass sites with manicured edges. Warm welcome from the hosts Jenny and Steve and walking distance to shopping centre. Profits from park returned into community projects. I will certainly return here another time. Reasonable traffic also.

Bruce & Eileen who manage the park are friendly & very helpful. The park is a credit to them both as it is beautiful. The grounds are excellent & kept lovely.Bruce is constantly out & about keeping them that way.Eileen keeps the amenities spotless, good hot showers & they are just like you'd have in your home with glass doors. The sites are mostly slab & their are grass sites, all a good size & easy to get into.Their putting in more sites at the moment & are upgrading some of the slabs.Beautiful views of the River & very quiet. You can have fires. The bar-be-que area is good & there is a playground.Easy walk into town or along riverfront.Very good price & suits any budget.Would highly recommend this park to anyone.
