My friend and I booked a surprise valentine weekend with our wives. We thought a road trip to Manitou Springs Resort would be great. We booked the restaurant for a Surf & Turf Valentines dinner. Our server was Ali, she was just awesome and the food came out perfect, excellent Kitchen and Chef. Ali anticipated everything we needed with perfect...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, we were in the Kitchenette suit as we had our 2 puppies. This is our 3rd time staying over. The pool is remarkable, we both have really bad back issues. It was like we were in our younger bodies, as we had no pains for 3 days. There is different parts of...

We had only heard about this place last year and decided to include it for 2 nights as part of our road trip. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. The reason we were there was for the hot springs and we enjoyed them very much. The one thing that really impressed us was the Poolside Watercrest Café....

The lure of this place is the water of course and the pool is both relaxing and soothing. From what we heard from regulars, the pool has improved dramatically in recent years and we would have to agree as it was refreshing. The hotel itself and the the restaurant are in need of major renovations however. It is very old...

I was here for a meeting and the food was okay but their chairs were horrible. There was no cushion left in them and for the hours of sitting it was very uncomfortable. The room was nice and clean and everything was clean. They served soggy sandwiches and not enough fruits. They also did not serve apple juice or orange...

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the resort and spa. The room was nice and clean. The spa also was clean and very well run, kids were kept under control no splashing or running around. The spa was a bit dark no big windows. The breakfast buffet was excellent, friendly waitress and the best coffee in a long time.

The pool never fails to please: you can bob like a cork for hours - make sure you keep well-hydrated! The buffet breakfast was not great. The eggs had an odd flavor (maybe powdered?). The coffee pot they left on the table held only about 2 1/2 cups, and they never came to ask about refills. The pancake had a...

Thank you for you comments, and the great comments on our pool. We had heard a few complaints about our breakfast buffet on the morning you ate at our restaurant, as one of our cooks decided to add a small amount of garlic to the scrambled eggs for the first time. The cooks were kindly asked to never do that...

Manitou Beach is a hidden gem! This was our 10th year for our girls trip and we have been as far east as Toronto, as far west as Tofino and as far south as San Francisco. Manitou Beach was right up there with the rest. Our hotel was not as grand as some hotels but was well suited for the...

I don't mind driving from a 7-hour trip just to visit this place , but a bad treatment to us by a staff at restaurant ( buffet breakfast) is not worth visiting. That guy who treated us descriminatingly and rudely doesn't have customer service manners and training. Somehow the other servers were very accommodating and approachable. The people in the...

Thank you for taking the time to write down your comments. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed most of our Resort, and I am sorry you did not have a good experience while waiting to be seated for our breakfast buffet. I was approached by my dining room manager on this issue, even before I received your...

My wife spend 2 wonderful days here. Everything was great and I would have given them 5 stars except when we got to the spa only 2 of the treatment's advertised were actually available. Since this was our primary reason for booking our stay this was somewhat disappointing. They should have informed us of this before hand and we could...
