Stay away. It’s a disaster !!!! Staff are rude and do not give any info. Course is a disgrace and bunkers haven’t been worked on for a long time Toilets either blocked, out of order or toilet door locks hanging off . NO towels and a RIP off !!! Stay away and don’t waste you’re money !
Nice clean room, comfortable bed but ... continental breakfast was all that was in on offer but as commented by other guests” more was spent on the paper bag than the food”. Given in a bag because kitchen in closed on Monday and Tuesday. Cold muffin, no choice of anything, you got what you got, yoghurt (don’t eat), small bag of cereal and a small apple. No toast and you had to pay extra for a coffee!! No serviettes (napkins) to be found either. 1 person making coffee with a group of people waiting. Not fair on the staff member. No bar or restaurant open on arrival. Called reception 7 times before arriving to check if there was a microwave in room. No answer!!! On arrival receptionist said “oh sorry , we are having trouble with Telstra “ and there’s no microwave in room so a trip back to town was needed. Not a great start to the day for a place with such lovely surroundings:(…
Stayed at Riverside Oaks ‘Resort’ for 2 nights in November. Executive suite rooms were large and spacious. Ours was clean, though friends found food (chips) between lounge cushions in their suite. Only 3 meals of 4 were served at dinner together in the brasserie. The tuna special was good. At breakfast we were told breakfast was not included. When I challenged that it was part of the package staff were reluctant to believe and were rather rude. I then spoke to the manager who sorted breakfast to be served to us. When I later spoke to a member at reception I was advised the staff did not transfer ‘breakfast included’ information in the booking (booked through external provider) and this was a mistake. We were looking forward to an afternoon by the pool. However the pool was unusable as it was green. Apparently reception staff hadn’t been near the pool so they weren’t aware. Very disappointing stay here. We love to come to the Hawkesbury area to look around and explore; however, we will not be back at this ‘resort’.…
Great service from checkin to dinner and finally best bacon & eggs roll in Sydney.staff friendly and efficient (esp Lisa) If you have a group or just a few close friends you couldn't find better value. If I was to compare it would be close to stay and play in Hunter Valley.
Absolutely enjoyable experience. Friendly staff and great accommodation. Two days of golf and an overnight stay with golfing mates. Breakfast and awesome coffee included. Would highly recommend. If you have overseas friends visiting, a stay and play would definitely show them our unique Australian landscape and hundreds of kangaroos. I will be back again soon.
