PROs: nice, clean rooms with private porch or balcony; friendly and helpful staff (in sharp contrast to luxury hotel next door); wonderful and plentiful food; good price; beautiful beach not too far (but a steep hike); CONS: 'showers' consisted of a nozzle in the middle of the bathroom area without door or curtain meaning the sink, toilet, floor will all...

Quite low key, but functional tents with separate toilet block. Just on back of stunning beach where Massa river joins sea. Beautiful spot. Not expensive so good value. Good if you have a car as quite isolated without.

I chose this place because I had an idea that being in the reserve, it would be easier to access the reserve for bird watching. What I didn't understand was that the reserve is thousands of hectares all along the coast and is inhabited by people, too! That being said, it seemed to be an ok choice since driving into...

We traveled to Sidi R'bat originaly for 1 day surfing, finally we were there for 3 days and visited the reserve. The place is in the middle of nowhere and you would not expect to find such a nice place. All rooms have a terasse and a view on the sea. The rooms are very clean, decorated with very good...

La Dune is set in the Sous Massa nature reserve and the location is stunning. We had a double room with balcony and beautiful ocean views. The rooms are reasonably comfortable if a little bit scruffy and the bathrooms are pretty basic. We really enjoyed the stay and the room was comfortable enough and very good value - and the...

After three weeks of travel in Morocco, visiting many of the main sites, we opted to spend four nights at La Dune. Great decision! The room we had at La Dune was really comfortable and good value for the price. The food was decent and inexpensive. Best of all, we enjoyed long walks along the beach as well as a...

This was meant to be the budget part of our holiday in Morocco and at £85 for three nights including all our food it certainly was, but it delivered much more than we expected. We stayed in one of their Berber tents, which were basic, but clean and all our bedding and toe,s were provided. The showers and toilets were...

We stayed two nights in this charming hotel. Room 8, which we had, has a large terrace facing the Atlantic, the other rooms face into the central area of the hotel. There are also Berber tents for rent - glamping of a sort! Charming and efficient manager with adequate English and very good French; all the staff delightful and helpful....

“I recommend you take one of the top level rooms. If willing to spend a little more, ask for the suite facing directly onto the ocean. Upper level rooms all have a good balcony looking out into the water though.”

“Room 8 faces the sea (and a radio mast but you can ignore this). Take your own wine and beer if needed.”
