I have spent many years staying in Kent I wish I had found the Black Horse sooner Great pub excellent food and superb 'lodges' . Food was excellent ,good range of specials well cellared cask ales ,good exercise walking to and from the comfortable lodge rooms

I use this hotel for business when In the area, its nice place - the rooms are small cottage type buildings - very spacious = comfortable and in lovely settings - the slope on the car park could be issue to some so if you struggle with stairs or hills ask for rooms at the top of the hotel -...

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed on a Monday night for one night only. The welcome was warm and the staff could not have been more helpful. Our first evening visit, have popped in a number of times for lunch or just a drink, and we were not disappointed. Cracking atmosphere with efficient staff and a wide ranging menu. Very enjoyable with good food and service. Will be back.

Only stayed for one night whilst working . Cant wait to go back . The rooms are small log cabin like chalets . Clean , large and welcoming . All of the staff really friendly . The atmosphere in the pub was homely with the log fires lit and the hops hanging from the ceiling . The food was outstanding...

Stayed for 3 nights whilst working locally, chose it for location. Loved everything, rooms large, clean with everything you need. Large comfy bed, bath which always scores with me personally. I stayed here with two co workers, while we were on a business trip in the maidstone area The rooms are little cottages, close to the pub Rooms are clean, big and taking care off Bed was also comfortable Your car can be parked in front or behind your room on a very safe location The location of the pub...

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here with my partner and our baby, it wasn't to busy and we managed to get a table even though we hadn't booked The food was really nice served hot and very reasonable price for a country pub! Nice atmosphere and lovely decor We will defiantly be going again

This was booked to celebrate our Sons 50th Birthday with 80 friends, a superb location with everything that was needed under one roof ( so to speak ) very good rooms that were spacious and lovely and cleane. An excellent sized room to house us all with a good disco, breakfast in the morning was great. Nothing as too much...

We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with diners having Sunday lunch. The rooms all appear to be in outbuilding set in the grounds but fear not they are well appointed, warm and comfortable. There was even an umbrella on the back of the door in case of rain.
