Just off the Princes Hwy and not far from Sussex Inlet you'll find Holiday Haven Swan Lake in the sleepy south coast village of Cudmirrah. With easy access to Swan Lake the park is a great destination for those into water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing. Cudmirrah Beach offers great surfing and in summer is patrolled by lifeguards. Berrara offers sheltered lagoons and another pristine South Coast beach. Access to Conjola National Park is just at the end of the road and is great for those who like bushwalking with many trails dotted throughout the park, some leading all the way to the neighbouring village of Bendalong.

Just spent five wonderful nights in one of the two person cabins. Clean and tidy, well appointed, great location. No problems getting a couple of extra blankets, welcoming staff/owners. A well maintained holiday park, also just around the corner from the best wood fired pizza at the Cuddy Cafe 😁. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay with swan lake tourist village was by far an excellent stay. The service of the owners is fantastic and they could not do enough for us. They were also very friendly stopping to chat and ask how everything was going if they through the park. The park was quiet and relaxing with many activities for our children to past their time. My family and I were so happy with our stay we have already booked our stay there at Easter and will definitely stay there again after that

This review is over due... we stayed with our family and friends Jan 2017. Searching for a place to stay after camping for a couple days, we stumbled on the Swan Lake Holiday Park. I am graful they had a room for us during school holidays. Staff were amazing, we had a dulex two room cabin (clean and well maintained). They had great activites on for the kids, kayak hires available. They made it a memorable wonderful holiday for us, we are looking forward to booking our next stay. Thank you and we hope to see you soon.

We stayed at the park over the Easter long weekend 2014. Upon check in the lady was very friendly and remained so throughout our stay. However, the gentleman was not so friendly, he swore at my husband in front of our children and others and was very very rude. No apology was provided he merely stated if you do not like my behaviour then leave. We were left feeling very unhappy and would not return.

100% on all fronts. The staff were absolutely wonderful. After staying around the south coast in 3 other locations over the past week we have been happy in general with all of our stays, though we did not stay at one place due to the poor reception we received on arrival.
Swan lake is the peak of the remaining positive memories.

What a great place to stay. The cabins are great, well appointed, with everything you need. The owners, Ken and Debbie, are amazing. Always willing to help and looking after everybody, including the kids, with kindness and patience. It's close to the lake and the beach. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

We had our first trip down to Swan Lake during the xmas holiday period and we loved our time there. We stayed in one of the Collingwood cabins which were clean but small ( we weren't expecting anything more though) and most of the time we are outside enjoying all the area has to offer. These cabins have been newly renovated and have all you need...a comfy couch and bed (a MUST) , air con and fans for summer, and linen is included (which is one thing less you have to pack). There is a large grassed area out the front of the cabin with table and bench seats to enjoy eating alfresco and for the kids to run around. We loved our trips to the lake directly opposite to either paddle board, fish or bike ride around. Our kids could live on the jumping pillow and the shade cover make it user friendly all year round. The school holiday activities were great too and lovely beaches around the area. As mentioned by many other reviewers, the managers are lovely people, very personable and willing to help with any issues (not that we had any really). You can do as much or little as you want! Would love to go on and mention more but fear it may get too popular!!

Location: Beautiful bushland setting beside the Swan Lake river just across the road. Close to 3 National Parks, Conjola, Morton and Bandawong, and a few minutes drive to the beaches.

Good news. There is a a part of the park available to campers and the cabins for visitors, spotlessly clean, comfortable, come with balconies and BBQ and usual supply of tea, coffee toiletries, plus air con, TV, CD and DVD. There is a small shop near the complex. Great breakfasts overlooking the lake.

Sussex Inlet is still unspoiled (10 mins) by car, has an IGA, and quaint crafts shops. Sussex Inlet Cinema, a must for cinema lovers. Opened in 1948, under new management in 2009, a wonderful blend of old and new AND don't miss Milton a 20 minute drive, a little more upmarket and simply wonderful boutiques and craft shops, and history there too.

Amenities in the park: Clean and supervised daily. Camp kitchen, community BBQ, heated swimming pool, tennis courts. For the children jumping pillow, climbing spider. Also deep sea fishing, whale and dolphin excursions (seasonal) within 10 mins drive.

Resident wildlife kangaroos, possums and beautiful parrots but..... don't get too close, they will come to you. It's their choice not yours.

The Managers Ken and Debbie excellent managers, wonderful hosts. They will bend over backwards to ensure your stay is enjoyable and relaxing.

We stayed as a family during the Christmas holidays. The park staff were very accommodating in ensuring we were all near each other.

My sister had a two-bedroom cabin on the water and we brought our own self-contained caravan. The second cabin bedroom was compact to say the least (so be warned if you have tall children) as it really only fits the bunks and that is all. However, it was adequate for our short stay.

The kitchen facilities could have be cleaner (especially the microwave) - get your cleaners to inspect at each changeover please as it's really annoying having to clean before you can use!

The amenities for caravans were clean and well kept.

The barbecue on the deck is a nice addition and helped us to avoid "cabin fever" with our large teenagers. Visits from the native kangaroos also made our stay!

The park itself is quiet, with some nice extras for small children, such as the jumping pillow. The pool is small but clean.

Great location on the lake where we all had a stand-up paddle board lesson that we would recommend. We understand the park is under new management and they are doing a great job in offering good service and in fixing the small things. We would book a larger cabin for our very large boys.

it was very disappointing to hear this response as we try hard to make sure our holiday makers have a memorable time, if this had been brought to our attention at the time we would have been happy to rectify the situation.

Very nice to arrive and be greeted by the most helpful and pleasant manager/owner?
He made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, such a pleasure after some we have experienced. Cabin was well set out and clean, are surrounding the cabin was well maintained and if the weather had been better would have enjoyed sitting out on the verandah with a coffee.Definitely coming back and highly recommend it to others.

Yes we do but they are wild and they come in from the bush most evenings and leave in the morning, though we had a few yesterday we cannot guarantee every evening.

Hi there. Sorry about the late reply. The lake is across the road ad the beach is a 10 minute walk. Not sure about the fish, as I don't fish, but there were signs indicating there are plenty!

Is it dog friendly in caravans?
Answer from Burra Beach Bistro
Cudmirrah, Australia
At Swan Lake we have a 'No Pets' policy in place ,largely because of the native wildlife that are frequent visitors to the park .But we do understand there are circumstances were pets need to travel with there owners and we do look at these individually.
