We are grateful for the Ensor's sharing their home & farm with our family. We had 10 people in our group - including 4 kids - and their accommodations were comfortable and the experience was wonderful. They have a beautiful farm in a peaceful setting. They serve a delicious, hearty traditional breakfast that will fuel family activities for the whole...

Before we made our reservation at Spring Valley B&B I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and was impressed on how positive they all were. It was all true! Dwight and Arleen are the perfect couple to run a B&B. They are welcoming, caring and have done everything they can to make the cabin where we stayed a comfortable and...

This is one of those times I am hesitant to write the review because I am torn to rave and shout about it from the roof tops and spread the word vs. keep it a secret for us to enjoy! In short, go. It doesn't matter what the reason is - quiet single or couple getaway, family retreat Arlene and...

My wife wanted to see flowers for her birrthday so we headed toward Pella, Iowa for their famous Tulip Time. In searching for places to stay nearby, we found the Spring Valley B&B, near Knoxville, IA, about 30 miles from Pella. It turned out to be a wonderful discovery. The B&B is part of a 600-acre working farm operated by...

Spring Valley Bed and Breakfast is a little piece of heaven in the heart of Iowa! Hoping for an authentic farm experience for my son and I (he is 8), it exceeded my expectations in all areas. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Dwight and Arlene who made us feel so at home. They offered us dinner, homemade...

We were looking for some lodging to stay at for our first trip to the Knoxville Nationals. We first looked at the hotels, then other options. This came up and we thought it looked great. We checked availability and was told they had 1 room left. So we thought why not and we are so pleased we opted for this....

We have been coming here since our honeymoon in 2005. The cabin is ours every Memorial Day weekend! Take a tour around the farm, fish in any of a number of ponds, help feed the chickens, listen to the peacocks, pet the donkeys, sheep or goats, play a number of games in the game room. Or just go to relax...

I stayed at the Spring Valley B&B for 2 evenings in the cabin, to get away from my crazy life as an organizer in Des Moines and to see what little treasures Iowa had to offer. This place is definitely one of such treasures. Dwight and Arleen were the best hosts, offering superb hospitality, great conversation and delicious breakfast! I...
