Cretia and Rick bent over backwards to provide for our every need. Each one spent time (Rick even gave us a riding tour of keokuk's historic homes) telling us about the Queen Anne home: past and present. The breakfast was yummy. The setting was sunlit and very clean, with a view out over the Mississippi. Several sitting rooms provided a...

If you want to feel safe, do not stay here. At booking we actually spoke to the innkeeper and at no time did she mention that our suite did not have a lock on the door. Basically if you left the room your personal belongings were at risk for theft. Right outside our suite was a high traffic area with...

As the owner of the Grand Anne, I am very sorry that you felt unsafe and believe that we were unfair with regard to the charges. As you can imagine, we rely heavily on the business during the peak summer months to cover the costs of the property all year long. You had booked our most expensive suite for a...

We stayed in this mansion like house converted into a B&B in 1993. The property overlooks the Mississippi . We had a surprise waiting for us when we arrived in the evening to check in. There were no formal check in process, but a note with precise instructions with the key attached. We stayed in the Judges' Chamber , a...

The whole property is nicely maintained and the neighborhood has lots of old historic homes overlooking the MS River. We had booked the Tower Room, the highest priced, nicest room and only room with a whirlpool tub, but when we arrived we surprised the innkeeper. Apparently there was a mix up and the room was already taken and she wasn't...

We stayed in the Tower Suite which was very comfortable, spacious and had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River from both the sleeping and sitting areas. How wonderful to wake up to the sun rising over the river! Breakfast was wonderful. The table was set so beautifully. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place to stay. We rented the whole house for my sons wedding! The food and service were amazing, the house is well maintained with plenty to do for all ages. My favorite was sitting on the front porch watching the Mississippi with friends catching up. Second best was the piano playing in the music room. Every morning...

My husband and I booked the top floor of the Grand Anne B&B. It was really lovely! The old house is gorgeous and we enjoyed the privacy and a wonderful breakfast. There's a nice porch to take in the morning, the hospitality was great. Also a very reasonable space!

We stayed in this beautiful Victorian B&B during the Civil War reenactment this spring. There are many beautiful rooms to explore. A couple parlours beautifully decorated. I enjoyed playing the grand piano in the piano room. We stayed in the tower room. It had beautiful windows overlooking the Mississippi. The large jet whirlpool tub is great. There are quite a...
