We came to Dyersville for a once in a lifetime family reunion from ancestors from th 1860's. We stayed at the Colonial Inn and overall, were happy. We stayed in an upstairs corner room that was quiet, extra large, and somewhat updated. We had a flat screen t.v., updated bathroom, windows off to the side, frig, microwave, and good desk...

Room was clean but so outdated. The wifi rarely worked and when it did it kept cutting out.Pretty cheap as far as hotels go but the room was not exactly great.Beds were not really comfy and the bathroom a bit blah

We picked this hotel because the location was closest to the start line of the Run 4 Troops Marathon. The owner was very nice and the price was extremely cheap. The room itself was just very run down. The place was probably clean but it was so old and stained it looked gross (especially the long shag carpet). The best...

Bed was comfortable, no bugs. TV was great, plenty of towels and soaps. Had microwave and fridge. The only complaint I have is that the tub didn't have a plug, no big deal though. I slept so well that I missed breakfast! Great room at a great price.

As a child and now an adult we always stay at the Colonial when visiting family in Dyersville & Farley. The wonderful aroma of curry meets you as you enter to register. Not only does an East Indian family own and operate this charming 1960's time capsule, they live there as well. They must be the only Indians in a...

This property was probably very nice in the 60's. It doesn't look like its been updated or cared for much since. Toilet tank dripped so they put a trash can under it to catch the water. A\C never got room below 76 degrees. Curtains were falling off the wall. Old style TV. Screen door had no spring so it blew...

Nice place, clean and roomy. Located right off the main street but quiet. Except for the A/C unit. Nice and cool but a bit noisy when it clicked on and off. Could use some serious updating, but fair enough for the price. Free HBO and Wi-Fi.

Stayed there we were just needing a clean cheap room and ended being very happy. The room was clean had cable TV had a mini fridg and a microwave in the room. Got to talk to the owner Rocky he was nice and planning on doing a lot of work on the place. Would stay Again!

My family and I were coming back from a reception in Dubuque last night, and the weather made the roads horrible. We had packed some clothes, and chose to get a hotel room rather then making the trip back home. I called around and found rooms ranging from 111.00 a night to 80.00 a night, but then I decided to...

Stayed here 2 years ago and had a good experience. Now it is under new ownership and absolutely terribly managed. The rooms smell, the fridge and microwave are only there to take up space and don't work. Stayed 2 nights and a friend stayed 4. The towels were replaced each day but the beds were NEVER made. No shampoo, hair...
