We were a little surprised at how small the room and bathroom actually were. We needed a roll away bed one night for my son (the groom) and it was a VERY tight fit. The door to the bathroom was off its upper hinge and we had to get a plunger for the toilet partway through our stay. We had...

The Heartland is so accommodating! We love the complimentary morning breakfast. Absolutely delicious! The staff are very, very helpful and always friendly and polite. I love the pool... it is great to stretch my muscles and get a great night's sleep. The rooms are very clean. We wouldn't stay anyplace else! One time we stayed there and I decided to...

We had to open the window in the middle of the night. It was making my husband sick. I think they need to up date their heating and cooling system. The carpet in our room was very dirty. Needs to be updated..

We stayed at this hotel to attend the Kinnick concert & was very happy with this hotel. Front Desk Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & perfect for our stay. Great location-Old Chicago is right next door, the Vine & Wig & Pen are also really close. We ate the Vine & it was great. Walking...

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was satisfactory. This hotel is not the most up to date nor is it what I...

I was very leery to stay at the Heartland Inn after our visit in June. This visit the hotel was clean and did not smell of smoke. They were overbooked and tried to find us another hotel at the price they had guaranteed us. When they could not find us a different hotel they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite....

This hotel would be considered a budget hotel with average rates. The hotel was clean, the bed was solid and there was very little noise but I was on the 3rd (top) floor so I was away from the road and parking lot. The parking lot is in the middle of a "mall" so there are a few restaurants around,...

The place is undeniably dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable enough for a brief and quiet stay in the area. The hotel is right next to a restaurant and within walking distance to a strip of casual eating places. Close to the University and VA hospitals, it offers a great stay for visitors and out-of-town outpatients.

This hotel is clean enough and employees are polite. That's it. May be ok for a quick one-night business trip. For any other extended purpose, find another place. I made the mistake of booking it for two nights. I could hear heavy footsteps above and the next room's tv. The wi-fi is totally WORTHLESS. When we came back from a...
