Twin anchors is family friendly with a playground, beach, kids games and is next door to a golf course. There is a restaurant next door if you don't want to cook. Very relaxing and clean. There is a bar in the clubhouse next door. Relax by a campfire. Tents or full hook ups.

This is not a campground. This is a mobile home park to say the least. There are 167 sites and only 30 are actually reservable with H2O and or electric. The rest are all permanent year round residents. Most of the campers don't even have license plates on them. The "modern showers" they list on their web sites must mean...

Not being able to score a reservation at Ledges State Park, we turned to a private campground as an alternative. The location of this place was really great and close for our visit with local family members. Also the management was accommodating about letting us keep our travel trailer there for a few hours after check out so we could...

First of all, they really squeeze people in there. There isn't much room between you and your neighbor. They don't enforce rules regarding being quiet at night. It's hard to sleep there. And it isn't very clean. Go to Hickory Grove instead.

We booked over the phone and have to admit I didn't check out the reviews. Not sure that would have changed my plans anyhow. We arrived after dark on a Friday evening and the check in staff was very nice. After a restless night sleep we were awaken by the farm animals just on the other side of the swimming...

My family recently stayed at the campground while visiting nearby family. I read the reviews which weren't very good but decided to try it out ourselves. We really had a nice time. There are many permanent sites but everyone was so friendly and so helpful. The kids enjoyed swimming the lake and going down the waterslide. There were very few...

When I called to make a reservation for full hook up I got the Corky run-around. She was not available and would call back. She never called back! During the third call in 4 days I asked if Corky was on vacation and was told she was "very busy!" I said I'd take a Electric and Water site. Reservation completed...

Love, love, love this place! Located right off the highway (easy to find, and white noise at night), the full time residents ride around in their golf carts and stop to chat with anyone interested in a chat..... Friendly folks, great place to walk, golf course next door, basketball court, lake for swimming or non motorized boats, fishing, on site...

We stayed with family and friends and found this campground to be nothing like previous reviews that we had seen posted here. Yes there are a lot of seasonal / permanent campers but we found them to be pleasant and helpful. The office staff were helpful answering questions and the store area was well stocked. The beach was clean and...

We reserved this based off their website. After reservations were made, I found the reviews here on TripAdvisor and became a little nervous. We went ahead and tried it and it wasn't that bad, but it's not that great. Reserving was easy and they were very helpful as we were meeting with another camper and we wanted spots together. No...
