I surprised my daughters with an impromptu stay at Wildwood. It was so clean, welcoming and quiet. We enjoyed the pool, even though it was a little cooler than I like. The breakfast had a good selection and was hot and fresh.

The staff at the Wildwood Lodge is friendly and welcoming. It is decorated in a woodsy outdoor lodge motif. The lobby is very inviting. There are comfortable sofas and chairs in front of the fireplace. There are several restaurants within an easy walking distance including Chilis, Mi Mexico, Woovly Boots, Baker's Square, and McDonald's. The Lodge also serves a breakfast...

Always love staying at the Wildwood Lodge! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Room was very comfortable - only issue was that the air conditioner was challenging to regulate. Room was either too cold or too warm. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choices! Looking forward to my next stay!

We travelled to Iowa to bike the High Trestle Trail. Our plan was to relax in a hotel when we were not actually riding. The Wildwood Lodge is situated in a quiet, tranquil setting in an urban area. The first thing we noticed was that the parking spots were larger than normal. The front desk person could not have been...

We wanted to try something different than the chain hotels in the area so we came to the Wildwood for a stopover. Its decorated in a woodsy outdoor lodge motif with a nice lobby to sit and relax in. Tons of comfy chairs and sofas by the fireplace. They have a nice free breakfast in this lobby area with biscuits/gravy,...

We spend two nights here. The lobby was interesting. Decor thru out was a little outdated and strange for a city maybe in the mountains. When checking in the room we were given was to be nonsmoking. It reeked of smoke so that are eyes watered when we opened the door. They did give us another room however it had...

Older furniture, fixtures, and room decor, however the rooms were very clean. We always move the arm chair in hotels to put our pack n play in the corner and this was the first one that we didn't find some sort of mess under the chair. Entire facility is dated but it was an excellent value for our two families....

Always love the spa tub and pool after a long day at work. Everyone is so friendly and the breakfast is great!! I especially love the weekday special touch with a courtesy beverage and a snack when I arrive in the lobby area. Also- with Chilies right next door, I can park and not have to drive somewhere for supper....

Not bad, really. Just not worth 4 or more stars. Lobby nice- decent areas to sit and chill. Room was plenty large so that's a plus. Breakfast was better than most similar hotels. Slowest toaster in the history of the world. Pool area was a bit funky- pool decent size, not deep. Hot tub switch didn't operate correctly which was...
