Stayed on deck 4 for 4 nights...just beautiful. Wake up to peace and quiet with the kookaburras ducks and magpies all waiting to greet us. The dams are crystal clear with beautiful water lilies and lots of turtles to watch. Rhonda the caretaker was there to greet us on arrival and happily gave us all the information that we needed. We will definitely be back.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are fully self contained and want a totally over 50s environment . 100% kid free. Owners of the park are super friendly and helpful and let you pick your own spot. There is power and water but no amenities do suits caravans with ensuites and own washing machines. It is in a beautiful setting especially the deck sites. So peaceful and quiet. If your lucky to meet George take him up on his garage tour. Thoroughly recommend this place to any over 50 couple and would definitely stay here again. Pet friendly as well

We arrived at Gumtree lodge and bush camp late in the afternoon with no prior booking. We were met by a warm and friendly face Debbie who explained where we could park up. We parked our Toyota coaster up and plugged in to a powered site for the night, they even lent us an extension lead as we left ours at our previous site. 25$ for the two of us for the night. Use of the shower and toilet as advertised on HIPCAMP was unavailable unfortunately, however we were still impressed by overall standard. Highly recommend.

Wonderful camp for adults, $125 for a week with power and water, must be self contained. Very friendly hosts, fire wood for fires if you wish. So peaceful, great place to stop for a while. Great camp spots on the dam as well. Recommend this spot to all.

Plenty of space around sites. Not jambed in. Deck sites are fantastic and well spaced out. Take some dry cat food and feed the fish eels and turtles. Sit around a fire in the afternoon and meet some of the other travellers. The place has a great atmosphere. Well worth spending a few nights and exploring the region.

Such a peaceful camp-site. You can just pull up beside a deck over the dam. How unique is that. Lots of space between sites. Hosts are lovely. You can hear traffic in distance but doesn't bother you. Pet friendly. Power and water hook up. Grounds kept well and also has a nice bush walk around the property. Hosts even leave fish food for you. Turtles and plenty of bird life. Thanks so much for a great stay.

My wife and I attended a planned rally with other members of our caravan club in May 2022. There were 18 caravans in attendance for the long weekend rally. There was plenty of room for everyone and we were all made feel welcome by George and Debbie our hosts at the Gumtree Lodge Bush Camp. The weather was wet but everyone still had a great time. Our club were treated to a tour of George's collection of cars and then after that George and Debbie treated us all to homemade pizza in the 1950's Diner next to the Garage.Thank you to George and Debbie for a fabulous visit to the bush camp.

Top Spot for a stop over or kick back for a week. We were on a deck site over looking the lakes, great views, great spot to base yourself to visit the area only 20 minutes from Harvey Bay.
The hosts George & Debbie where awesome. Held a pizza nite and enjoyed it in the American Style Diner and George showed us his fabulous car collection.
A must to stay!
