Tim and Stacy were excellent hosts --they are available for every need but also did not interfere with our stay. The Inn was well-maintained and had furniture in pieces that you would expect for a historic bed-and-breakfast . Great TVs and Wi-Fi. We saw all the rooms and they had fantastic antique furniture in most of them. Kitchen and lounge...

A clean, comfortable room with friendly, attentive inns keepers in the middle of a beautiful small town with great restaurants within a block -- what more could you want? Perfect! And the First Friday event around town was an added treat!

When we arrived at the Inn, doors are locked. Nobody walking around inside. Called the number on the door, a representative arrived, who happened to be a friend of the proprietor. Never met the owners during our stay. This place is listed as a B&B, but it should be listed as a "B", Bed.. There is a room for the...

We stayed the evening of July 4th and were pretty disappointed with the fact there was absolutely no breakfast, save a Keurig and a few K-cups. There was a nice large dining room, with several tables. Our stay started pretty good, the lady that checked us in was nice. She took us to our room, ran our card, and was...

Sir, I would thank you for your review of the Vevay Swiss Inn. I would also like to apologize for any potential confusion. My husband and I moved in and reopened the Inn in 2013 knowing we would never make much money but more as a labor of love for the town that I grew up in. For a period...

We traveled to Vevay for the Taterbug Ultramarathon. All we knew is they had a room and it was two blocks from the start line. We got there late Friday evening & we were thrilled with the welcome and the accommodations. The rooms were great and clean. The next morning was wonderful breakfast awaited us before the race. Graciously they...

A wonderfully comfortable and warm place to stay. I wanted to experience the history around this Ohio River town and this filled the bill as a place to spend the night. The hosts are very accommodating, the room well-appointed and clean, bed was very comfortable. We peeked into some of the other rooms while they were open and each room...

I was pleasantly surprised by this B&B. Family owned and operated with a very friendly and helpful staff. A great, quiet, comfortable place to stay. Newly renovated and the hot breakfast was absolutely amazing! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! The rooms were very well maintained. The queen sized bed was very comfortable, and gave me...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Vevay Swiss Inn has had many names and owners but it is recognized as the oldest operating Inn in Indiana having first opened in 1832. The original building burned to the ground in 1942 and was rebuilt. The Inn reopened in June of 2013. It is family run with the owners living on the third floor. There are 10 guest rooms, each with a private bath, a guest kitchen/laundry room, a porch for guests to enjoy, a lobby and two dining rooms. We are located on the corner of the only stoplight in Switzerland County and are within one block of several restaurants and other services. We are seven miles from Belterra Casino and twelve miles from the Kentucky Speedway. We are along the Indiana Wine Trail and a great destination for bikers enjoying the hills of southern Indiana. ... more   less
