We stayed 3 nights at the Inn to visit friends in the area and to make a day trip to Chicago. Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. We stayed in the Aberdeen suite and even though it faced the highway, the noise was very minimal. The breakfasts were all delicious and elegantly...

Thanks for your kind review. It was great to have you stay and the old master bedroom dating to the 1860s is a favorite of many. Did you take advantage of the South Shore commuter train to Chicago to avoid the traffic and parking fees ? The wicker sofa was stylish, but I agree that it is not like the...

I needed a place that was dog friendly and because I have had wonderful experiences with bed and breakfast inns (primarily Select Registry Inns) I decided to give this inn a try. The staff was gracious and accommodating; the gardens lovely and the rooms spacious. The bathroom faucets could use an update. The bed was comfy and the room was...

Thanks June for your nice review. Our "pet guests" like that they can step right outside into the garden area without going through the inn and lobby. Have a great summer and hope to see you back soon ! John

The inn has lots of potential , I'm sure years ago it was wonderful. Needs updating , the rooms are spacious , like the fireplace & jacuzzi . Spend a little money and update the bedding , window treatments etc. Breakfast was good. Service ok . The Inn had a lovely little gift shop, I bought two wreaths at phenomenal...

Thanks for your review. The carpets have been replaced and almost all of the rooms have new bedding - you apparently got one of two that have not. It was purchased but didn't go well - so returned. Still working on a match. Have a great summer. John

After much, much research for an overnight getaway, we decided on The Inn. We are thrilled we did and I can't wait to come back. Some fixtures are dated but everything is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a small glitch with our fireplace so Val moved us to a different suite without us...

We do not consider ourselves B&B people, but we had a gift certificate to use and opted to select a B&B near our adult kids/grandkids. What a surprise it was to find that every last aspect of our stay had been carefully thought out in advance and attended to. The room was immaculate, and included a fireplace and a jacuzzi....

Thanks for spending time with us at the Inn and we are delighted that you were sooooo happy. Our staff loves to read great reviews - they work very hard to make the Inn more than just a hotel room, but a B&B EXPERIENCE !

Stayed for 3 nights this time and love the tranquil surroundings. This Inn knows how to do customer service, amazing breakfasts and help-yourself delicious cheesecake through the evening. Will visit again next time. NOTE: Check their website for $30/nite off coupon!

We recently spent one night at the Inn at Aberdeen while passing through Valparaiso. We enjoyed our stay there. Our room was large and easily accomodated our family of four. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our breakfast at the Inn the next morning. I would highly recommend for a family stay or a romantic getaway.

Thanks for being a part of the Inn's family! We try to make everyone feel at home, just like going to "grandma's" in our 1800s home. Business travelers, couples and families - makes no difference - you are all welcome and a part of us. Have a great summer and we hope to see you back soon ! The new...

My mother surprised me and my wife with a lovely stay at this gem of a place! We really enjoyed on how free roaming the place was and how convenient the staff and inn keepers were. Awesome room we stayed in; the enidinburg suite. On the second floor upon entering the B&B,The grand stair case was adorned with a picture...

Thanks for your great review and we are delighted that you had a good time. Our main water heater went out this past weekend and the plumbers started up a back-up. Jacuzzi brand tubs (all of ours) always drain 100%, so our guests don't get to "enjoy" a previous guests adventures. What you were experiencing was some calcium and iron...

We booked this Inn after much research to celebrate our anniversary. Our arrival was at the appointed time. After all of our travel, imagine my dismay, when we are given a different room than the one that we had paid for. This room's decor and lighting were dark. Also, it was hot due to faulty air conditioning. Therefore, we did...

It is hard to respond to comments 9 months after the fact since this August 2014 concern is posted May 2015. I also have NO RESERVATIONS in August 2014. for a "Debra K". Our guests select their suite when they book on-line with our Inn's software or call the Inn directly. The only time they would be moved is if...

We stayed one night in the Balmoral room. The room was beautiful and it was immaculately clean. There were 3 negatives, the room faced the street (Highway 2) and there was a lot of traffic noise; the bed springs squeaked every time we moved, and we could not get the jacuzzi to work. We filled it up to the right...

Thanks for your nice review. Sorry about your difficulty with the Jacuzzi. It is not an electric switch for obvious reasons but a pneumatic (air) button which needs to be pressed fully or sometimes two times quickly and it starts right up. There is a card in the amenity basket which tries to explain this and we are always there...
