We have stayed here several times over the last 12 years! Its a charming old Inn that is so relaxing. You never have to leave the property if you don't want to. In nice weather they have an outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are dated but VERY clean and comfortable. Just off the lobby area you will find many tables,...

Thank you for your review and for your business over the last 12 years! I'm glad you found all the fun McCormick's Creek has to offer. We are always looking at new and fun activities for the guests of McCormick's Creek State Park and the inn. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed it. Again, I thank you for...

We are from Florida, in our mid sixties and travel extensively. We stay in all types of hotels. We prefer historic hotels with character. We stayed at the Canyon Inn because that is where my husband's parents Honeymooned in 1937!! The main part of the hotel and dining room have been restored very nicely and the employees were very nice...

The Inn is a wonderful compliment to a beautiful park. The trails are well marked and offer a little something for every ability. The Inn was restful with nice indoor and outdoor spaces. The food in the restaurant is delicious while the service was "comfortable." This park is one of my favorite places to visit because it provides a total...

Stayed two nights and enjoyed both. Had a two queen room the first night and they brought us two rollaway beds for the kids. Comfortable but a tad dated. Second night had a suite which was roomy with a coffee pot, frig and microwave. Again, comfortable and relaxing. The views from the windows were gorgeous! Food was pretty good but...

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have been coming to the inn since the 1970s. The rooms are clean. The hotel restaurant (now the Hickory Room) menu is better. The price of the buffet is a little less. Very friendly staff in the Inn and Restaurant.

Don't get me wrong...We have been going to McCormick's SP for years. The dining is excellent, especially the Easter Buffet. The campground and the hiking are great but our first and only stay at the Inn was substandard. We were put in a single room that had a single bed that was way too small for two adults and the...

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you were disappointed in your room. Those rooms and baths are small. I was glad to see you enjoy the park, the food and holiday buffets at the inn. Thank you for being a great customer! Please know Canyon Inn and other state park inns have larger rooms. We hope you have the...

The Lotz family -- my family -- has been holding family reunions here every summer since 1978. This place holds a lot of memories for us. My kids came here when they were infants. Now they're brining their children, my grandchildren, to make the memories, too. That said, I'll try to be objective in my review. This is obviously not...

Our 2nd time staying here. Canyon Inn rates a 4 for the beauty, hiking and price alone. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable, but not luxury accommodations. The spacious lodge area is wonderful for visiting, reading, playing games, The trails are a must, including the Wolf Cave if you don't mind getting dirty and having to crawl on all fours to...

We attended a family wedding here. We did not stay here, THANK GOD! I have stayed at state park hotels in West Virginia, and while they are out-dated like this one and have that, whatever odor...have never been able to pin-point it exactly, I've never seen a hotel room with a smaller bed & smaller room area than here. I...

We went to Canyon Inn for a night. The rooms were fine, typical for Indiana State Parks. It was a little noisy as we could hear a baby crying in an adjacent room. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is in a great location if you like to hike....
