Very friendly people, very good swiss-german food, nice campground using the lodge's/restaurant's superbly maintained facilities. On one of the beautiful and in excellent shape international roads from Chile to Argentina, close to ski facilities, national parks and thermal baths.

We stayed for a week in December. There are great hikes and bike trails nearby and an amazing breakfast buffet at the lodge. The price is reasonable and the place is truly peaceful. I would definitely recommend suizandina.

We camped here for 4 nights in December 2016 during our 8 month travels around South America. It was the best place we went to and absolutely fantastic in every way. Great food, surroundings, facilities inc swing and see-saw and hospitality. Extremely helpful and friendly with spotless bathrooms it was a real "home from home". Great walks or horserides in...

Lovely cozy place. Friendly, helpful team. Great food with a mix of Swiss classics and local dishes, all making the most of fresh home-grown veggies. Good place to meet other skiers and exchange tips & stories. We stayed in a 6-bed room in one of the cabins, which was great for our group, apart from the fright I got when...

Good food, friendly staff and good standard rooms. This place has feeling and the construction is swiss. The highest standard I have seen amongst hotels in Chile if you look at finish of the construction. The best place in the vally to stay for a skiing experience since the staff is ski oriented and can give you tips. Stefan Palm...

This lodge was incredible! We are a couple of skiers traveling without a car and for a small extra fee, Ivana the owner helped us get back and forth every day to ski Volcan Lonquimay! Their cozy rooms, abundant nourishing food and welcoming staff made us feel like part of the family for the three days we were here! This...

Suizandina offers everything you want for a great couple of days. Lightning fast wifi, a great breakfast and a la carte dinner possibilities, a friendly staff, a great bunch of animals on the property (dogs, cats, llamas, alpacas, horses, ponies, etc.). For campers/overlanders, the showers are steaming hot and the sanitary is spotless. The very friendly Swiss-Chileno owners also offer...

We had a wonderful stay at Suizandina with our campervan - we arrived intending to stop for only a day or two, but ended up staying for a week! We loved the buffet breakfast and the dinner options - the set menu in particular is great value. Make sure to try the pisco sours - some of the best we've...

A nice place to stay at the foot of Volcan Lonquimay. I stayed in a "four-person" bunk-bed room in the separate guesthouse, with private bathroom, as a room was not available in the main house. This would be OK for two people, but would be hopelessly crowded if occupied by four people. These rooms are also quite noisy if people...

You are 12'400 km away from Switzerland, but feel still like at home. The hotel is well-kept and the people are friendly and helpful. The rooms are simply furnished and with shower and WC. The food is not only delicious, but natural and fresh too. The house is surrounded by a large garden with dogs, cats and lamas. You have...
