I wanted to enjoy a cabin directly on a lake close to my home in central Indiana--one that provided human powered boats (canoe, kayak, pedalboat, rowboat), walking paths, birdsong--a peaceful setting free from crowds and motor noise. I also didn't want the cost to break my bank. Wasatch Lake Resort was very much what I hoped for. Our cabin (a...

The most beautiful relaxing weekend ever! We fished, hunted mushrooms, sat by the fire at night. The sound of nature in the evening was wonderful. We are going back in the fall. This may be an annual thing.

I've had the pleasure of spending multiple weekends at Wasatch Lake and have had nothing short of excellent experiences. This beautiful private lake setting is perfect for fishing, canoeing/kayaking, or just admiring the scenery while relaxing on a comfy raft. With seemingly endless trails, one can spend hours enjoying the local wildlife with friends or family and come back to...

Spring fed lake perfect for swimming and fishing. Miles of trails through the woods and a big clearing with a tennis court. If you want to get away, enjoy nature, and see the stars at night, then this is the place for you. I've never met friendlier people than caretakers Jason and Orfa. For all of these reasons, I've been...

We rented cabins here for our bridal party and family and absolutely loved it! The staff is very friendly, the cabins are rustic, and the area is beautiful! We loved the sounds of nature, the outdoor photography we captured, and the whole environment. The best were the journals left in the cabins for people to write in so you could...

For what my family needed, I would not recommend this place. We needed a get-away for a large family, and while there were some things to do, I would say it didn't meet our needs. Row boat oars were broken, we were told that the Lodge could be rented out at any time (and therefore we wouldn't have access to...

This was our second visit here, both in Cabin 5, and we can't wait to go back. The lake is beautiful, especially in late fall. The cabins are kept in wonderful condition and are kept very clean by the staff there. A fantastic couple's getaway if you want to leave the world behind for a few days and just spend...

We spent a long weekend at Wasatch Lake Resort with two other couples in September. The unit we stayed in was great! Nice interior, including a great kitchen and adequately sized eating area, and the view from the screened porch was fabulous. I would give our stay five stars except for one major issue. The house was advertised as sleeping...

Our family recently spent a few days at Wasatch Lake to enjoy some fishing, canoeing, and time together and enjoyed this place very much! It was easy to find Wasatch Lake, even though it is very far off the beaten path. Their website directions were helpful and signs along the way made it much easier. The property is well-maintained and...

My family spent several days at the end of July 2012 at Wasatch Lake based on the recommendation of a friend. The goal was to spend several days unplugged and unwinding. My husband and I relaxed on floats in the lake while our son played and swam in the water. We read books and played games. We took a walk...

“All the cabins are on the lake except one -- #6. Those who rent #6 will have a short walk to their dock where they will have a better lake view and direct lake access. If your group is small (2-3 people), #5 is probably the better value.”

“Cabin 8 and 9 are the furthest from the lodge and are seperated from all the other cabins. We liked the fact that they were so quiet.”
