This is the good hotel in Tuan Chau, it's very new and beautiful hotel. All the hotel's facities so good, strong wifi. I love this hotel and will introduce it for our relatives. Highly recommend for another guests.
We stayed for one night after our cruise was cancelled following new rules on CONVID19. Although the hotel was nearly deserted standards were maintained; the dining room was closed but the breakfast in an annex building was fine. Prices were very fair - in fact cheap for the standards of accommdation offered. Once Vietnam reopens we will happily go back
My family and I stayed here after our cruise. The hotel is beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff superb. The pool and beach are far away, but they shuttle you everywhere you want to go. They even insisted on shuttling 1 block down to the seaplane tour. The beautiful pool and beach are abandoned and it looked like no one has been there for months. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a great place to stay if you are taking a cruise or have a reservation with the seaplane company. Just be warned the area is under construction and the place will feel like a ghost town.
Okay so this is a hard one as it was a very weird experience. We stayed for 4 nights in February and just to let you know the island of Tuan Chau and Halong Bay was an absolute Ghost Town. I could not believe it. I've never been so shocked and surprised about how strange and different a place can appear to be on pictures and reviews than in reality. Anyway the hotel is lovely. Absolute class in every way. You can borrow bicycles for free which is cool. The wifi wasn't very fast but apart from that the hotel was amazing. Just how it looks in the pictures basically. However the island of Tuan Chau is AWFUL. There is nothing there. Absolutely nothing... there are no restaurants or bars or anything like that. We had to way dinner in the hotel restaurant all 4 nights we were there ! The food was good and it wasn't too expensive but I don't want to eat in the hotel every night ? Maybe once but that's it. We didn't have a choice though there is no other restaurants on the island. There is nothing to do either. There is a sort if water park there called Tuan Chau Park... no where online says its abandoned!!! There is a big Bar/Restaurant called Yolo. Check it out online it looks great... its also abandoned ?! The island is just loads of hotels, but half of them are building sites or have been abandoned half finished! We literally saw about 5 people every day on the island. Where anywhere else we have been you would see about 20 people just in the hotel. We were the only ones eating in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. It was actually quiet creepy how quiet it was. The rare people we into all said the same thing. They couldn't believe how empty it was. There is a lovely beach and pool area which the hotel drive you to on island but again its completely empty. The pool wasn't being cleaned or anything. The water was completely still and there was loads of bugs and dirty floating on the water. There was also loads of sediment and dirt on the bottom of the pool. The showers right next to the pool didn't work either... the beach on the island was completely empty. We took a taxi off the island to the Bay. There is a water park there. Closed. There is also a amusement park. Closed. There is a massive cable cart that stakes you across the island. Closed. There was literally no one there. It was sunny for the 4 days we were there so not like it was horrible weather. Apparently the Coronavirus has stopped all the Chinese tourists from coming to Ha Long bay but I don't really believe that. Doesn't explain how everything has been abandoned years ago. We were also told told because of the time of the year no one comes to Ha Long bay or Tuan Chau island as its too cold? I mean I understand that for Ha Long bay maybe but not Tuan Chau. I got sun burnt twice over the 4 days so it's not like it wasn't hot or sunny. Anyway I wouldn't stay here for more than 2 days. There is literally nothing here. We went on a cruise the one day and that was really good so definitely do that. But apart from that just don't risk it. Maybe if you go in peak time I suppose there will be more people but there isn't anything that will be open in the summer that isn't open now as it's all abandoned. The hotel itself is amazing and would recommend but only stay for 1 or 2 days as it's almost depressing how empty it is.…
A beautiful, spacious, and modern hotel. Luxury really. Staff are almost overly friendly. The area is a bit of a ghost town and construction site. Restaurant served an awful meal. Re-heated food. Cold french fries. Staff again very attentive, but not enough guests to engage a proper chef I guess. Decor again beautiful.
