It was hard to fault Lifestyle apartments. The 1 bedroom ground floor apartment was spacious and very clean. Special mention must be made of the most comfortable bed and the well appointed kitchen.There is a little balcony to sit and enjoy a drink and nibbles. It is within walking distance of two supermarkets and several takeaway places making provision of meals easy. Also special mention must be made of the obliging staff especially the weekend manager, Rob, who sorted out a few transport problems unrelated to the apartments. Altogether a great place to stay - it was comfortable, quiet and welcoming.

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Ferntree Gully, look no further than Lifestyle Apartments. We had booked elsewhere in the area, trying to save a few dollars, but after checking in there, ended up not staying.
From the moment we enquired at Lifestyle, Sarah went out of her way to sort out some emergency accommodation for us, and by dealing direct rather than through an online agent it was cheaper. Our emergency accommodation started at two weeks and ended up being a total of 4 months. During that time Sarah and husband Dale and their friendly staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible.
One of the first things we noticed when we entered our room was just how clean and well-maintained it was. Not the case elsewhere!
The Housekeepers that serviced our room once a week, Kath and Roxy, take pride in their work and Dale makes sure the whole facility was well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all of the home style amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
One of the stand out features of Lifestyle Apartments is the very comfortable beds. If you're travelling for business or staying somewhere for more than a night or 2 then a good bed and nice linen is really appreciated.
Finally, the location of Lifestyle Apartments is hard to beat. It's situated in the heart of Ferntree Gully, within easy walking distance of shops, take-away food, and other local facilities. Its perfect if you live in the area and need temporary accommodation or simply need a comfortable place to stay while visiting the area, Lifestyle Apartments is your best option .

Our studio apartment was spacious and extremely well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and had a small but excellent welcome pack. It is very close to many supermarkets and eating places. Staff at the apartments were very welcoming and more than happy to offer advice and give ideas for us to do locally and further afield. Additional services such as car hire, airport transfers or extra servicing were available if required. Despite being near to a major road there was no noise disturbance. Overall it was an excellent choice and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and no doubt will be returning in the future.

Fabulous stay, had everything we needed. Very comfortable for a family of 5, with 3 teenage aged boys. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I have fragrance allergies and they were accommodating to use low chemical/fragrance cleaning in our room prior to our checkin and leave windows open for airing. Reception and hallways were very fragrant, but was easy enough to hold my breath until I got into our apartment. It worked well for us! Supermarket within walking distance, cafes, shops etc, very convenient stay and located very close to our friends home whom we were visiting. When we next visit, we'll look to stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Lifestyle. I stayed with my son who is 8 and we are into our 2nd year travelling the world so have stayed in many many different accommodations along the way - Lifestyle has definitely been one of our favourites. The location is fantastic for exploring the Dandenongs, Yarra Valley and of course the Puffing Billy Railway. It is also really easy to get back into Melbourne City either by car or rail. The apartments are large & spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen. All the staff were really friendly and helpful too. If we every return to Victoria we will definitely stay here again.

Nice Apartment! Nice kitchen, great bed! There was a dining room alcove where we could work on our computer as well as eat dinner. Sheer curtains in addition to blackout type curtains made this room well lit. There was an outside table and chairs which we didn't use because it was too cold at the time. The outside area was screened from the street with bushes and a fence for privacy. The personal washer and dryer were great and worked well.

The apartment was in beautiful condition and had everything you could want for self contained accommodation. The railway station is close by as are lots of shops. It is right at the foot of Mt. Dandenong a lovely tourist destination. The online booking system is easy and straight-forward and the staff went out of their way to meet the mobility needs of my 93 year old father and his walking frame. I could not praise them highly enough. I'd definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.

We stayed for 6 nights, including New Years' Eve, and were very happy with unit 19. It was very clean, spaceous, had two lounges, large table and six chairs. Plenty of storage in the two bedrooms and pantry. The Air Con worked quite well. Wi-Fi was good. The location was convenient as it is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is within 30 minutes to the Yarra Valley wineries and about the same to Melbourne CBD. Traffic from the near by Burwood Hwy was not an issue. The reason we will not rate it excellent is the toilet that is not in great condition with only parts of a towel rail and nothing to keep your shampoo and shower gel in the shower.

This apartment was well priced ,spacious Very clean ,comfortable the beds were really comfortable, everything was close in the way of shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly we needed to check in early as we needed to catch a bus to a concert and they did everything they could to make this happen. The room was welcoming the apartment was really quite which is unusual which made it nice to sleep and relax. As it is an older building you think it would not be as comfortable but it was a lot more comfortable than most new apartments. Normally we stay in Melbourne city glad we stayed here and will definitely stay here again. Thank you

I'm staying at the lifestyle apartments 2-3 times a month while being on call for the nearby Angliss Hospital. The apartments are clean, spacious and it's a great place to relax. The bookings are easy and straightforward and the owners and their staff are always super friendly and very accomodating. I've stayed at the Lifestyle Apartments probably 40 times so far and never any problems or issues.
